OYO ROOFTOP SEOUL
Good location near Myeongdong metro station and buses for the airport. It is also close to local shops with plenty of coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants nearby. There are also some money exchanges in the location.
Room was as expected, shower and room were clean although the bed was uncomfortable, feeling like it really needed renewed. There was a fridge and a hairdryer and the aircon was good.
Breakfast was good, choices are limited to toast, cereal and a variety of drinks. As someone who doesn't really eat breakfast the choices were fine for me. Quality was good.
There are 2 outdoor areas, one on the rooftop and another on the first floor for smokers. Both areas are supposed to close at 10pm. On my visit the first floor area had quite a lot of cat or dog poo and this was not cleaned too, despite staff using the area. Make sure you wear shoes! In addition on my last night there were some very noisy residents outside at 1am wyck was extremely annoying as i had a very early rise for a flight. I also had issues with those in the room above being extremely noisy. It will be interesting to hear what the hotel day about this.
Overall staff were friendly if I needed their help, the check in was fast and efficient and the location good. Just be aware its at the top of quite a steep hill and there's steps into the hotel be prepared if you have heavy cases.
The location is good and I probably would stay here again. Noisy residents are just 1 of these things!
