Very disappointing. I knew it was a very slow week for hotels in the area because it was a korean holiday but still they gave me a view of another building’s window (deluxe room). My primary residence for my vacation was in Busan and I just needed a place to sleep in Seoul for five nights to visit family and friends. Thus the reason I chose this place. Location was okay with some peace and quiet. Lobby with well educated staff and coffee shop attached. One elevator was used for basement renovation but who knew.. until you walk into the elevator. Alas, the room... I walked in and I couldn’t find the difference between a 2 star hotel or a 1 star motel... There was dust on the walls, behind the tv, shower head was molded, washroom walls with water marks leftover from previous guest... and yes it is as they all say... the washroom is very small... you sit on the toilet and the hand sink is right over your knees... I asked for a cancellation as soon as I saw the room. With covid19 hotels should be flexible with last minute cancellations... but nope I got only 2 nights cancelled out of the 5 and they were saying it was an exception during the holidays because Expedia Korea was also on holiday. But I booked from Expedia Canada and as a person who comes from the hospitality industry, cancellation should be more flexible especially for long term reservation. Although I had 3 nights left in this “hotel” I booked a new reservation at a named brand hotel and I was overly satisfied.

The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfy and all amenities in the room were excellent. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is also very good and we really enjoyed our stay.

Booked a deluxe double room. Toilet is small and rather cramp. The sink was ridiculously small so it’s impossible to keep the toilet floor dry as water will constantly splash out of the sink. Room itself was spacious with warm floor heating and the bed was comfortable as well.

The service was not good, despite of fact that I booked double or two single beds, they said I only able to use two single beds for one person. I had to call hotels.com to complain, then they switched me to one double and one single bed for one person. Restroom is tiny, uncomfortable to use to take shower. Overall it was clean though.

An affordable accommodation, not a hotel

To be fair, this is an affordable accommodation but not a hotel. It is cleaned, but is not close to any hotel's standard as I was able to find dusts in every corner, someone else's ice cream leftover in the fridge (!)...Staffs are kind but not well trained so not very helpful and identifiable (if they are not in the reception, they don't wear uniform...). Also, do not expect breakfast to be similar to other so-called hotels... If you are traveling with your family to Seoul, this hotel will not be a good choice but if you are looking for a very cheap accommodation in Seoul for a night or two, this place should be fine.

Poor customer service

-Poor customer service. when arrived on first day, We were met with a cold reception. Receptionists did not greet us, smile or appeared friendly when doing check-in for our stay. -The toilet was positioned at a very awkward spot, sitting right next to the washing basin with little to no leg room available. Every time we need to use the toilet, we would need to sit diagonally to avoid hitting our legs against washing basin. Making it very uncomfortable. On top of that, also raising hygienic issues with the close proximity between washing basin and toilet bowl. -The cleaning staffs were also not attentive enough, occasionally leaving behind dirty sponge and cleaning tools laying around. Towards the end of our stay, we noticed our amenity supplies were not replenished every time. During the first week, we received two complimentary bottles of water daily and 2 rolls of toilet papers. When it got to the second week we only got 1 water bottle and toilet paper was only replaced when it was running low. The cleaning staffs were also giving us judgemental looks, did not appeared friendly at all when we occasionally bumped into them in the hallway. -Every time, we leave the hotel to go out, the front desks staffs rarely greet or acknowledges us even though we were the only clients at the time. -Overall I reckon the hotel staffs, should really work on their customer service skills, as they work in hospitality and that's the most basic service they should be providing.
