An example of "You get what you pay for."

The directions to the hotel were unclear, but once I arrived the staff was friendly & helpful. The problem was that I was put in a dorm room with three other very inconsiderate women who had been in the room together for a few days. One rummaged around in her noisy plastic shopping bags until 2am. I had to beg her to stop and do her sorting in the common area. Then another woman came in at 3:30am & switched on the overhead light without a thought for those who were asleep! Grrrr!! I stayed just one night & left for the airport at 7am.

Perfect location

Great area - near many restaurants, malls, and shops. Friendly staff. Simple but good breakfast. Right beside exit 10 of the Dongdaemun Histoy and Culture Park Station. Our room was small but clean. It was very bright and had a full view of the Design Plaza. Overall, a great stay considering the price.

Summer stay at Dongdaemun

Very near to the shopping area in Dongdaemun, short walk to metro which can lead to most of the attractions in Seoul. Quiet environment and strong aircon. Good recommendation although it is small. Hope that daily house keeping will be available instead.

Compact hotel with washing machine!

Chose this hotel for mainly 3 reasons: Location (Dongdaemun History & Culture Park, 3 Metro Lines), Elevator (for luggage) and Washing Machine (A mini one that washes 3kg max). There are many types of accommodation located in Seoul. You gotta roughly think about where you plan to go before choosing where to stay and 24 Guesthouse is really quite strategically located in Dongdaemun itself, and the same for Dongdaemun in Seoul. Stayed for 6 nights, hence I needed a place to wash clothes. Elevator is important as I was travelling with my Mum and of course it is for the ease of going to the airport. You need to transfer the light blue line to take Airport Line or you can just take a limousine bus just nearby. The complimentary breakfast consisting of toast, hard boiled eggs, orange juice, milk and coffee definitely help to save cost. Room comes with shower stuff (except toothbrush), coffee/tea, kettle, fridge, washing machine, and of course bed and blanket. Mum had problem with the lower bunk as that particular mattress was a little flat and she could feel the wooden plank but I had no problem on the upper bunk. They provided me with an extra blanket to use as additional layer. Staffs were able to speak rather fluent English and wi-fi signal is strong. Hot shower not too stable but grateful enough. For the mini cute washing machine, I might consider staying here again, but for the price, I should be able to get slightly bigger room.

We had a wonderful 8 day stay. Airport limo stop right in front of hotel. Look out for the brown building with the Nike logo. Take the lift to level 5 for checking in. Excellent location for shopping. If you take the MRT, Use exit 3 as there is an escalator there ; don't use exit 10 as you got to climb all the way - can be quite tiring if you have heavy baggages. Hotel staff is friendly and can converse in English too. The mini washing machine comes in handy. Just go to level 5 and ask for free liquid detergent . You can exchange used hotel towels for clean ones. Hotel staff helped to us to order food when we were too tired after all the shopping. Great stay!

I will definitely come again for my next stay!

The location is very accessible. It only takes you 2 minute to reach the subway exit (Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Exit 10). You can get to three subway line (Line 2, 4, 5) without transfer. Bus stop for airport bus 6001 is just in front of the building, and you can just check out by dropping the key. The DongDaeMun Design Plaza is just across the road, so you can go over and visit the LED FLower exhibition whenever you want :) There is a long stretch of night market every night, so I always get distracted on the way back :P And that means there will always be some crowd, so you dont need to be worry about walking alone back late night. The counter is helpful and friendly. You can ask them for any help. I love that there is breakfast provided every morning. Although it is simple like toast, cooked eggs and juice/milk, I am happy to step out of the hotel with a filled stomach every morning. And also there is a balcony where you can hang out with friends. The shower cubicle glass is abit transparent. The water is hot and strong enough that I always take forever to end my shower. The other thing that I love so much is the mini washing machine in the room! I washed my clothes every night, including those newly bought clothes so that I can wear them the next day! The room even comes with a hanging pole with hanger that I can hang my clothes to dry. How sweet it is! The room is small but it comes with everything I need, so I wouldnt complain given its price and value.

I received no room services during my stay for 4d3n. I stayed in a double decker bedroom and I can hear all conversation/noise outside the room. The price is reasonable and this hostel is a choice for low budget traveler.

Nice guesthouse with very friendly staff

the guesthouse is very easy to locate (just opposite the DDP dongdaemun design plaza) and the transportation is very convenient too! There is also a airport limo bus stop just below the guesthouse itself so that you can just drag your luggage down and wait for the bus to come (instead of taking the taxi, which will cost a bomb). The room itself is very comfortable, bright and cosy, and they provide room cleaning every 3 days if you request them to do it. The staff are also very friendly and they will help you out whenever they could, from ordering late night delivery to asking they for recommendations to tourist attractions. They also have brochures on every floor of the guesthouse so that it is convenient for us to get information. Staff there are also multi-lingual, they can speak mandarin, english and of course korean :) super love this guesthouse ^^

Very good guesthouse overall

I stayed in a triple room and then moved to a double room. The beds are a bit hard for me but both rooms are very clean but the stay in the triple room facing the main street was a bit noisy. Breakfast is simple but nice. Staff was helpful although one of them forgot to get back to me about a question, which was fine as I got the answer from someone else. It's very convenient that the airport bus stop is located in front of the guesthouse.

Great location but small rooms

Excellent location if you plan to shop all night at the Dongdaemun market. The single room was very small - there wasn't room to fully open my luggage. But it was clean and had all the necessary amenities.
