Pequeño pero poderoso: en plena naturaleza, a 10 minutos de Selfoss

Esta pequeña joya recientemente renovado se ofrece en alquiler sólo a partir de otoño de 2015:
Uno entra en el hall de entrada con aseo y una pequeña pero funcional cocina. Desde el vestíbulo, ir directamente a la sala de ducha con WC. Enlaces va en ello la sala de estar y dormitorio. Hay un cómodo sofá-cama (colchón de anchura 1,60), una mesa con dos sillas y un aparador. La habitación es luminosa y agradable y esperamos Comedero la ventana en la naturaleza. La terraza ha cortaviento en el norte y en el verano se puede sentar muy bien con amplias vistas hacia el suroeste y oeste; hasta el río, a lo largo de la vasta llanura y las montañas circundantes. A veces, aquí pastan caballos en el pasto.

Highly Recommend!

This cozy apartment was the perfect home base for exploring Iceland! It was warm and inviting after long days exploring the stunning landscapes. The well-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare simple meals, and the comfortable bed ensured a restful sleep. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Iceland.

Beautiful area, excellent host!

We have really enjoyed our week just outside Selfoss. The cabin was cosy and equipped with all the essentials, and an excellent base to explore southern Iceland from. We even got to see the Northern Lights from just outside the cabin! Petra was an accessible, friendly and super helpful host, she kindly went above and beyond to help us when our flight was cancelled due to a bad storm. We would highly recommend!

Cozy, Sweet, Amazing Views

This was such a great little spot to relax in at the end of every day of adventure. Cozy, homey environment. Water pressure in shower was great. Everything was lovely. Views outside by the river were amazing.

Quiet and convenient

The location is great - just outside Selfoss so it was easy to access Selfoss for gas, restaurants and groceries, etc. but it was in a quiet, country-like location. The house was a great size with a well stocked kitchen. Best thing - we got to see the northern lights while standing on the driveway!

Home base

Our stay in Selfoss was great, everything is as shown. This was a great home base for all the sites on the south coast. We did stay one night in Jökulsárlón beings it was about a 4 hour drive to do our glacier hike and boat tour. Worked out great.

Me and my partner stayed here for 7 days, the property was absolutely perfect. The location is great it’s easy to find and tucked away but also 10 minutes from town (Selfoss) and 50 minutes from the south coast sites. The cabin was very cosy and had all the amenities we needed, the bed was comfy and perfect. We woke up and were greeted by chickens and a dog outside which was a lovely surprise. The best part was we saw the northern lights from the cabin on the last night, Petra was easy to communicate with and welcoming. Would highly recommend!

nice little country cottage

our stay was very nice and we have been lucky without TV but with a radio. The cottage was full equiped with all things we needed. It was very clean. It was a pitty we havn`t seen and talked to the owner.

Fantastic Property

Perfect location for exploring the south coast of Iceland, very clean property and has all the amenities required! Property very well looked after, very warm even when it’s blowing a hoolie outside! Would definitely stay again!

Quiet relaxing stay

We enjoyed our stay. The location was central for us to use as a hub to take day trips out and back from. It was just the right size for two. The guesthouse was clean and bright and we were greeted by chickens and a rooster upon arrival.

Sehr gemütlich und sauber

Wir hatten hier eine sehr schöne Zeit. Das kleine Haus hat alles, was man braucht und ist sehr platzsparend und gleichzeitig gemütlich eingerichtet, sodass wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt haben. Wir waren zu zweit und hatten genug Platz. Die Gastgeberin war auch super nett und hat ziemlich schnell auf Fragen geantwortet. Besonders toll fand ich, dass die Heizung schon an war, als wir abends im Kalten ankamen, und das Haus somit schön warm war für unseren Empfang. Sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft!!

Best place to stay in southern Iceland

This place was clean, cozy and had everything I needed including wifi and a small kitchen. Everything that I wanted to visit was within a one hour distance in every direction. The price is fair. The place is quiet and beautiful surrounded by horses and nature. The views are breathtaking and at night if you are lucky you'll see every star in the sky and the northern lights like I did. A Honeymoon Getaway

My Wife and I had a fabulous time at this location, petra was amazing in giving us a lovely expereince. Would highly recommend this location as its just out of town so its a peaceful getaway. Would return here again.

Phenomenal stay- we saw the aurora from the porch!

As stated, we managed to get a glimpse of the aurora from the porch, which was so nice at the end of our week long stay. When we first arrived, we had a minor issue with the WiFi and shower drain- Petra was responsive and fixed these issues immediately and even checked in with us later in the week. The cabin was a lovely place to come home to after long cold days in Iceland, and we would love to stay here again!

Nettes Tinyhouse mitten in der Natur

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Alles ist wie beschrieben. Ruhig, 10 Minuten nach Selfoss und ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um den Süden Islands zu erkunden. Checkin und Checkout ist problemlos und Petra ist eine nette, hilfsbereite Person. Das Tinyhouse ist kein Luxusappartment, das weiß man aber. Wir haben uns dort wohl gefühlt und würden es wieder buchen.

Hidden Gem

Beautiful property located just east of Selfoss with easy access to the southern region. 10 minutes outside of Selfoss where there are grocery stores, restaurants etc. Secluded with a beautiful river running through front of the property. You might even get to say hi to some chickens!

Great house to stay.

We had one issue. The adres wasn’t on Google maps. And Apple Maps give me a wrong adres. But lucky we had some direction from the owner. So we can locate the adres. But after we found the house it was very comfortable and was a great stay. The shower wasn’t capable of standing on his own. But personally not a issue.
