We hadden een heerlijk verblijf in Ségur-le-Château! De gastheer en gastvrouw hebben ons hartelijk verwelkomt bij aankomst en gaven een tour van het huis. Het huis is heerlijk ruim, het stuk grond is fantastisch groot met een heerlijk uitzicht. De kinderen genoten van het zwembad in een apart gebouw op het terrein. Je deelt het terrein met de eigenaren, maar hebt zeker voldoende privacy. En niet onbelangrijk: eindelijk echt goed liggend bed. Kom je niet vaak tegen in Frankrijk. ;) merci de tout!

Dit is top ! Je krijgt meer dan de beschrijving. 13 ha domein, goed onderhouden. Veel zonnige en ook veel schaduwrijke plaatsen in de tuin (domein). Altijd heel rustig. 's Nachts echt donker. Eigenaars kom je af en toe tegen terwijl ze planten of andere zaken verzorgen. Deze mensen zijn echt fier op hun verblijf en dat is dubbel en dik verdiend.

Geweldige locatie, heel veel ruimte, rust en een prachtig privé zwembad. De huiseigenaren Sylvie en Roland zijn ontzettend aardig en werken hard om deze prachtige plek te onderhouden. Wij hebben er twee heerlijke weken gehad en gaan zeker nog eens terug.

Het vakantiehuis ligt op een prachtig domein. De eigenaars doen alles om het naar je zin te maken en de omgeving is schitterend. Alles is uitermate verzorgd. Een erg aangenaam verblijf. Het zwembad is erg goed onderhouden en verwarmd. Een heel klein minpuntje is dat het internet erg instabiel is, maar dat ligt aan de regio, de kabel moet nog doorgetrokken worden, dat zou snel gebeuren. We hebben het er heel erg van genoten; Een aanrader !

Een zeer prettige ontvangst van Roland en Sylvie. Bij aankomst was er al een drankje in de frigo en brood voor de zondagmorgen. De accommodatie is super. De omgeving prachtig en voor wie een rustige vakantie wil ‘the place to be’. Uitgestrekt domein waar je als natuurliefhebber zeker je hart kan ophalen. De rivier die door het domein loopt vraagt om avontuur zowel voor groot als klein. Prachtig overdekt zwembad met terras voor de zonnekloppers. Voor kleuters iets minder geschikt, vrij diep. Voor onze boodschappen reden we naar Pompadour, prachtig kasteel met gekende paardenstallen, gezellig dorp op 9km. We hebben een rustige deugddoende vakantieweek mogen ervaren. Ségur-le-Château is idd één van de mooiste geklasseerde dorpjes van Frankrijk.

Quiet and relaxing

Roland and Sylvie were lovely, they really made us feel welcome, despite them not speaking English and us speaking only a little french. The gite was really clean and came with everything we needed. It was also really homely with lots of personal ornaments. The pool was amazing,, so large and both ourselves and our children loved it.

Site et gîte exceptionnels, propriétaires d'exception !

C'est un coin de paradis sur terre niché en haut d'une colline, avec une vue magnifique sur la campagne environnante , dans une propriété immense , magnifiquement arborée et fleurie, donnant sur une rivière. Parfait pour se ressourcer, pour vivre en plein air, en famille ou entre amis, avec enfants ou adolescents : barbecue, plancha, four à pizza, très grande piscine couverte, différents espaces mis à disposition pour manger, lire, profiter du cadre exceptionnel. Le gîte est parfait avec tout le confort et une décoration réussie. De nombreuses activités à faire dans la région : visite de très beaux villages, de châteaux, de grottes, balade en canoë, tyrolienne, randonnées nature ... Et enfin, des propriétaires d'une très grande gentillesse, souriants, et toujours là pour vous renseigner ou vous aider. Une semaine de bonheur !

Du début à la fin, vous avez tout le luxe d'un séjour 5 étoiles. Les propriétaires sont passés d'étrangers à amis en une seule vacance. Je les ai appelés Monsieur et Madame Duracel car rien n'était trop pour eux, nous avons été choyés. En un mot SUPER !!!!!
