Eigenaren stonden ons op te wachten bij aankomst en zijn supervriendelijk. Communicatie met handen en voeten aangezien ons Frans slecht is en zij ook geen andere taal machtig zijn. Vertaal app via de telefoon werkt uitstekend. Wij waren er met onze hond en 2 dochters (16 en 19). Je moet van een rustige vakantie houden want er is weinig in de directe omgeving te beleven of je moet de auto pakken. Huis is lekker koel en van alle gemakken voorzien. Een eigen zwembad is super en de eigenaar verzorgt deze iedere dag voor dag en dauw. Net terrein is volledig afgesloten en daarvoor ideaal voor kleinere kinderen en honden. Onze hond heeft lekker kunnen rennen en baalde misschien nog wel meest van ons allemaal toen we teruggingen. We zijn een dag eerder vertrokken, maar dit lag niet aan het huis, de omgeving of de eigenaren maar helaas aan het wisselvallige weer.

We werden heel hartelijk welkom geheten door de eigenaars. Er stonden zelfs een heerlijke fles wijn en koekjes voor ons klaar. Het is een fantastisch huis met volledig omheinde tuin, (honden of kleine kinderen kunnen echt niet de straat op lopen) in een heel rustige omgeving. In Payzac is er een bakker, een slager en in La Chapelle is er een Utille met een beperkt aanbod aan verse en droge voeding. Een grotere winkel Intermarche is er bv in Pompadour. De 1,5 km naar bakker of winkel fietsen is zelfs voor minder geoefende elektrisch fietsers goed te doen. Wij hebben echt genoten van de rust , de stilte, het uitzicht over de velden, de vele vogels. Dank jullie wel voor jullie warme ontvangst!
