Exactly as described. Walking distance to sugar loaf trail head was such a bonus. Views not as good as expected but still the house was wonderful. Clean and well stocked.

overly strict management company

The house was fine and the management company responded quickly to a problem. I would have rated five stars except that the management company rules and attitude are overly strict and condescending. You want to arrive a few minutes early - 100. Similar on leaving. Picky, overly detailed rules (not presented before making reservation) that you have to sign and return before receiving check in info.

We loved our stay

A party of 6 friends stayed comfortably. Very clean, plenty of towels, the kitchen has everything you need. We loved the beautiful location, which is on a quiet street but close to activities, restaurants, shopping. We did star gazing at night as it’s dark enough. I definitely recommend it.

What a location!

We needed to get away from the snowy northeast US, and decided to revisit an area we had explored with family many a year ago. This time just the grownups, with different location needs: Close to waking trails, a food store and, of course, Starbucks.The Maxwell House location checked all three boxes, the trails less than 10 minutes from the front door and the food and coffee at the bottom of a rather long hill. Perfect for early morning 'constitutionals'.The house was clean and very much like the web images. We cooked for ourselves most days, utilizing the surprisingly heavy pots and pans, and exceptionally clean propane grill. Bonus: the kitchen knives were of good quality and had a sharpener to maintain a reasonable cutting edge! This is a rare find in our experience.We had one issue with the coffee pot requesting itself to be descaled (we've all seen that before, eh?). The We Love Vacations maintenance staff exchanged the previous machine for a brand new one within a couple hours of texting them a request. Very much appreciated!Lots of linens, logically located, and all windows with substantial shades to block out the sun when needed. Overall, a comfortable home away from home.

Location is amazing

The location is great, tons of hiking trails in just 5-10 minutes walk. House is super comfortable, big and with all that you need in the kitchen and bathrooms, you don't feel trapped, super spacious. We had a great time and the family enjoyed a lot of outside time.

Family Room

This property has a great open plan for a family. We enjoyed our stay over Christmas and the dogs were also welcome which was a plus since there was a dog virus going around and kennelling them seemed dangerous. Everyone had their own space as well, there was plenty of room. A grocery store was very close and we were able to find everything we needed. There was a hiking trail in the neighborhood that was very nice. The stairs created a small problem for an elderly family member.
