There is the good and not so good. I’ll start with good. The owner was very helpful in solving a booking problem I had that was my own error. The owner was prompt in answering questions and direct with a solution. The property is located on one of the main streets and there are restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Additional dining options are close by. I was concerned about street noise, but from the bedroom with the door closed I couldn’t hear any or the band that played on Friday and Saturday night at the pub down the street. If you’re a HITS horse show person, its a seven minute drive. So for the not so great. Arriving to the property is pretty sketchy. The entrance is down a sketchy ally. The white plastic fence that surrounds the backyard is just a single panel. The backyard is overgrown with tall weeds and is strewn with debris. Once you find the door, the stairwell is poorly maintained, unpainted, with exposed wall patching. The apartment is fine, but I would not say you could “sleep three”. The sofa does not pull out and would be uncomfortable to sleep on. There are appliances and pots/pans (which have a greasy feel). But there is no table or desk to sit at, so you’re kind of stuck for eating. The bathroom was clean. The toilet location is funny…see the picture.I was alone, it was fine. If this was for my family, I would pass. If it was my adult daughter alone, nope. Clean up the entrance/"yard" and put a table and chairs, and I would have said four stars.
