Beautiful place, beautiful people, must return

We loved our stay at Sigal. The rooms are lovely and traditional with super comfy beds. The breakfast is brought on a tray when you head down to the breakfast area and we really liked how the selections made for you were slightly different each day. Lovely way to start the morning. The views are out of this world, you can see most of the island from all the rooms. The peninsula the hotel is on is a quieter part of Santorini which was fantastic to be able to drive up to the tourist areas then get out back to relative calm with a real Greek feel. The owner went out if his way when our car battery died as we were leaving for one of the great local restaurants one night. He insisted he drove us and picked us up from our reservation whilst he waited for the recovery assistance to come from the car hire company and we returned ti a fixed car. He is one of a kind. We love the cats around the hotel and overall we were really disappointed to leave. We have travelled the world extensively and this was authentic, quiet, close to lots of great food and beaches and the friendliness of the owner and staff was second to none. Can’t wait till return. Don’t listen to any negative reviews, if you’re looking for 5 star authentic loving service in a beautiful location then come here.

A Hidden Gem

Outstanding stay, a hidden gem away from the heavly populated tourist spots. Clean, communicative, and outstanding views! I would definitely recommend Sigal Villa. Renting a car is a necessity if you want to explore the whole island. The one time we used the bus, it was running late. Sigal Villa is also on a hill. I'm sure the hills would be easier in the winter. However, climbing them in 30⁰c was a challenge!

This property is situated in the quieter end of the island and you will need a vehicle of some description to get around, however, don’t let that put you off, the owners go above an beyond to make your stay incredible from having your quad bike delivered to the property, daily changing, incredible breakfast and excellent local knowledge / recommendations. Loved our stay 10/10

The property owner , his daughter n the girl working at the reception are the friendliest n the nicest people u can ever come across. We stayed 4 nites n they took such great care of us. If I go back to Santorini I wouldn’t even bother looking for any other hotel. I highly recommend this place for everyone .

The last part of road to the hotel is very narrowed for driving. Room is very nice and roomy. View from the windows and balcony is awesome. Breakfast is good. We stayed 2 nights and we like our stay.

The view and pool were very nice. The 12 room property is very remote so if you want to see the island (other than the village down the steep hill) you will need to rent a car. The hotel charges 25 Euros one way to be picked up and delivered from ferry or airport and they insisted on cash, which was unreasonable. The tap water is not safe to drink (and it smells bad) at the hotel, so be prepared to buy drinking water. The internet also went out on two occasions. We were also double charged by the hotel after we had prepaid Expedia. Thankfully Expedia will be giving us our refund.

Nadia and the entire team where wonderful and very accommodating. The food was great and they also recommended local restaurants (the good heart is a must) and they where happy to assist with transportation rentals (car, atv or scooter) and they would reach out to get car service if needed. Great experience!

Fantastic villa and family!

The family owned and run Sigal Villas was a fantastic part of our holidays. Location and comfort we would give them 10/10! The cleanest rooms we have seen and Katerine will make sure breakfast is great. We felt like part of there family. Free transfers to and from the port and the owner even offered to take us out for dinner in a local taverna. Stunning scenery. We stayed here for 4 days. Thank you Sigal Villa we will be back. I highly recommend you stay here.

Worth every penny!

Had a great stay here! I was travelling alone and was looking for a great view, friendly staff and got that here! The room was amazing, view was spectacular. Unfortunately it was windy & cold the two days I stayed here (I went in the shoulder season) and I didn't get a chance to take advantage of the pool. The hotel is up on a hill and hard to get to if you are walking -- I recommend getting a car or ATV. that being said, the view makes up for the hill and it was worth it!! The co-owners are amazing and happy to give you advice on what to see, where to go, or even give you a lift down into the village. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. It felt very homey!
