--- Mi experiencia en este hotel en Santo Domingo no fue la mejor. Estuve recientemente y, lamentablemente, me fui bastante decepcionada. El servicio de los camareros dejó mucho que desear. Muchos de ellos eran muy serios, sin el mínimo gesto de amabilidad o cortesía al atender. Además, el trato al servir la comida fue poco profesional: simplemente estiran el brazo desde cualquier ángulo y uno mismo tiene que tomar su plato, cuando lo correcto es que se le sirva directamente al comensal. Definitivamente, necesitan capacitación urgente en atención al cliente y protocolo básico de servicio. En cuanto a la comida, el club sándwich fue el robo del siglo. Lo pedí en tres ocasiones y fue peor cada vez. Un pedacito de pollo seco, sin sabor, media rodaja de tomate y un pedazo diminuto de bacon. Los otros ni siquiera traían bacon. No hay excusa para servir algo tan pobre y cobrarlo como si fuera un plato de calidad. El “capuccino” que pedí también fue una gran decepción. No sé qué era, pero definitivamente no era un capuccino en sabor, textura ni presentación. Y por si fuera poco, la zona de la piscina fue muy incómoda. Algunos hombres eran extremadamente indiscretos y mirones, lo que hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más desagradable. El hotel debería prestar atención a este tipo de comportamientos y tomar medidas para garantizar u

The hotel was excellent and the customer service was excellent The breakfast on the premises had a great selection and the items was freshly done. The pool is only acceptable by a room key. The hotel is surrounded by some nice restaurants and the area is surrounded by police and armed guards. The taxi are always upfront by the resort and would drop you at some locations and also wait for you. One taxi driver drove us to the mall and waited for us too. I would definitely recommend the Renaissance hotel to my friends and family.

Had a great stay! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the service by the pool—everyone was attentive and helpful. Spent some time in the casino and had a lot of fun there too. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Ive stayed here a few times. I like the hotel staff. The hotel is honestly just over priced for the value. Rooms are not ocean front and their prices are consistently just too high for what they offer. The hair salon goes out of it's way to over charge tourists. They will tell you one thing before the service and a higher price at the end. It's like they could care less about any level of customer service. Their focus is on getting as much of your money as they can, period. I'd totally suggest avoiding the salon if at all possible. The VIP room for snacks and appetizers is a nice addition (don't remember the cost though). Overall a good option if you don't mind overpaying for an older hotel.
