Zipolite is a lovely place to visit., we enjoyed our stay with Posada Mexico, the staff was excellent, everything was as advertised, even the no hot water, lol, although the water was more than acceptable temperature warm not cold. We left the day before hurricane Agatha was to land, we hope they and the locals all fared well.

Extraordinaire - from a traveler with over 40 yrs travel experience and having visited over 40 countries, these local, authentic palapa gems become more rare each year. Awesome value, several price points. Property restaurant on gorgeous beach: very reasonably priced, totally fresh and flavorful and excellent coffee and natural juices. My indoor/outdoor ‘palapa’ had the most simple, yet amazing powerful shower (chain-pulled and unheated)

Posada Mexico on the beach

Posada Mexico is a nice place to say directly on the main beach in Zipolite. The management and staff are kind and welcoming and the restaurant has amazing breakfast options with tables on the beach so that you can eat in front of the ocean with a delightful breeze. Nice, clean, and safe place to stay on the beach.

Great hotel clean rooms excellent service staff was very helpful professional they make sure that you have a good stay. The only thing we would recommend is in the restaurant could improve on the menu the food was simple we think if more traditional food was available it would improve the service.
