La casita de la playa with jacuzzi

Small, romantic beach house at the south-east coast of the Anaga Mountains, declares recently UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, in the quiet Town Igueste de San Andrés. Through a comfortable footpath with stairs of appr.400 m you can easily reach the house at the pebble beach. The house comprises about 35 sqm living area with a complete kitchen incl. a combination of airfryer and oven, a comfortable living/bedroom with 2 sofa beds (1.40 x 2.00 and 1.10 x 1.80 m), Smart TV and Netflix and High Speed WIFI and a modern bathroom with shower and dressing facilities. From the large terrace (70 m²) and the luxus whirlpool you have a fantastic view of the Atlantic and the coastal mountain range. Secluded from any touristy bustle and weekday noise, the house serves to find lots of quietness, relaxation and recreation. Directly in front of the house you can go swimming, diving, surfing, snorkeling and even fishing. A secluded, fine lava sand beach is located appr. 10 minutes on foot from the house. From here you can also hike directly in northern direction into the protected Anaga Mountains or to the Playa de Antequera beach in the east.



It is expressly forbidden to hold events and parties, as well as the access of people not listed in the reservervation. It is also requested to respect the neighbours, not making noise from 22.00h. onwards.

Fabulous place. NO privacy

Every thing you could need was supplied in the casita but constant walkers and hikers in front by the sea and on the walkway above the cabin led to no privacy at all. 15 min walk from parked car to cabin with 47 steps!

A charming and peaceful oceanfront retreat in Tenerife

This was a wonderful oceanfront house rental that was perfectly situated away from the touristy areas of Tenerife. We stayed here for a week and was able to drive to the house from the south airport quite easily from the motorway. The emailed directions to the house from the parking area were easy to understand and the walk to the house is very safe. Igueste de San Andres was a wonderful location to stay in for our first trip to Tenerife and we didn't have any trouble driving to our day trips to Los Cristianos, Mt. Teide, Santa Cruz, Las Teresitas beach, and the botanical garden in Puerto de la Cruz. I definitely would recommend renting a car to reach this location and explore the island. We also spent a day driving through Taganana and other mountain villages to observe breathtaking views from the Anaga Mountains. The kitchen is fully functional and we also used the washing machine twice. Our welcome basket upon arriving after midnight was a wonderful surprise, as well! We will definitely miss having our morning coffees overlooking the ocean and trying our luck fishing outside our front door. We hope to return soon!

A wonderfu,l off the beaten path beach house

This place is clean and lovely. There is a large patio with a table and chairs, lounge chairs outdoor shower and shade. There is a small garden area behind the patio with herbs, papaya tree and other plantings. The house sits about 30 feet back from the ocean. The managers Ana and Doris are very responsive to questions and were super helpful with all inquiries. They recommended restaurants and were a great help when I left a credit card behind on accident. I recommend their rental to everyone able to walk the distance from the end of the road to the house, which is approximately 0.25 miles. It is definitely worth the walk.

Hotspot for lizards

If you don't like lizards or are afraid of them, a stay here is not recommended. Unfortunately, we found two lizards in the house and another one in our luggage before we left. No air conditioning, and if you open the windows, lots of lizards want to come into the house.

Ein abgeschiedenes Traumhäuschen

Wir waren nun zum 3. Mal in der Casita de la Playa und es war auch dieses Mal eine wunderbare Woche. Die Casita ist perfekt ausgestattet, man hört nur das Meer rauschen, kann allerdings nicht mit dem Auto vorfahren und hat einige Treppen zu bewältigen. Die Terrasse mit herrlichem Breitwandmeerblick ist gut doppelt so groß wie die Wohnung. Es wäre kein Schaden, wenn jemand gern köchelt, es ist dafür alles vorhanden, denn das einzige Restaurant von Igueste ist kein Volltreffer und von den Öffnungszeiten nicht zuverlässig. Santa Cruz ist gut mit dem Bus erreichbar, auch kann man 3 Wanderungen direkt von der Haustüre aus unternehmen. Es gibt einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen, dessen Brot haben wir allerdings nur ein Mal gekauft.

Ruhe und Entspannung am Ende der Welt

Sehr praktisch, gut ausgestattete Unterkunft direkt am Atlantik. Meeresrauschen Tag und Nacht. Privatsphäre ist möglich. Nötige Lebensmittel etc. im Ort verfügbar. Leider war das einzige Restaurant/Bar im September geschlossen. Wer doch zum "Sahara-Sand-Strand" oder in die Hauptstadt möchte, kann diese auch bequem mit dem Bus erreichen. Hilfsbereite Nachbarin, die einem auch ohne Englisch/Deutsch Kenntnisse weiterhilft. Also empfehlenswert für Leute, die kein Hotel-Komfort benötigen und in Ruhe entspannen möchten.

Die Größe des Hauses und der Terrasse entsprechen nicht der Beschreibung . Gesamtfläche der Wohnung ca. 22 m2 .

Das Haus liegt schön, direkt am Meer und ist gut und mit allen Notwendigen ausgestattet. Alles sauber und gepflegt. Danke nochmal für den netten Willkommenskorb. Man kann auch direkt ab Unterkunft 2 Wanderungen starten. Ein kleiner Nachteil ist der Weg mit vielen Treppen, von der Parkmöglichkeit zur Unterkunft, bei An- und Abreise.

plus: sehr schöne Terrasse, direkt am Meer, Liegestühle, Schatten und Sonne, windgeschützt, Whirlpool; Wohnung gut aufgeteilt, Komfortabel, Dusche super, Deutsches Fernsehen, Internet super, hilfsbereite Ansprechpartner vor Ort jederzeit erreichbar. minus: nichts wirklich, Auto angenehm, wir konnten aber sehr gut mit dem Bus die Wohnung erreichen, vom Flughafen Nord aus.
