Located just a few steps from the Hermitage of Santa Catalina, this beautiful house is in the heart of the picturesque village of Taganana, within the spectacular Anaga Rural Park, declared both a terrestrial and marine Biosphere Reserve. Surrounded by a unique natural environment, it is the ideal place for lovers of hiking, the sea and tranquillity. You can enjoy incredible mountain trails, relax on its magnificent black sand beaches or discover the rich culture and traditional Canarian cuisine.





One of the unique features of this house is that all its rooms are independent, offering greater privacy and comfort for groups or families.

Taganana is a hamlet scattered throughout the Anaga Rural Park. It is surrounded by pristine beaches and rocks that rise from the sea several metres from the coast. Our house is located in the historic centre of Taganana. It is just 30 metres from the Hermitage of Santa Catalina and another 100 metres from the Church of Nuestra Señora de las Nieves. There are also several cafés and restaurants within a 200-metre radius where you can have a snack or sample our delicious cuisine.



If you are looking to go hiking in the surrounding area, there are several approved trails of varying difficulty:



Trail PR-TF 4: El Bailadero-Taganana

Difficulty: Medium Duration: 2 hours



Trail PR.TF 8: Afur-Taganana

Difficulty: High Duration: 8 hours



There are also magnificent beaches just a few minutes from the property:

Muy bueno un poco incómoda la distribución de la casa y más si vas con niños y no estaría mal una mesa pr 6 comensales ya k la casa es pr 8 y calefacción no tiene y hace mucha falta del resto estupenda yo repetiría la limpieza estupenda en general bien mejorando estas dos cositas

Tolles Haus in herrlicher Lage

Ein tolles Ferienhaus in einer wunderbaren Umgebung. Schöne, saubere Zimmer und Badezimmer, eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche und eine Dachterrasse mit Blick auf den Atlantik. Im überdachten Eingangsbereich sitzt man gemütlich zum Essen, Kartenspielen etc. Für 4 Leute genau richtig, mit mehr Personen müsste man etwas zusammenrücken. Es gibt außerhalb des Hauses wenige Meter entfernt einen separaten Barbecue-Bereich mit einer Terrasse. Diesen haben wir aber nicht genutzt. Das WLAN mit schneller Internetanbindung über Mobilfunk hat gut funktioniert. Im Dorf hat man außerdem LTE (wie überhaupt fast überall, wo wir unterwegs waren). In kurzer Entfernung im Ort ist eine Bar (Las Nieves), in der wir uns sehr willkommen gefühlt haben. Ein kleiner Laden, in dem man alles bekommt, ist nur fünf Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, ebenso mehrere Restaurants. Besonders zu empfehlen: Restaurante Roque Las Ánimas. Taganana ist ein wunderschönes Dorf, in dem man überwiegend Einheimische und nur wenige Touristen trifft. Wir wurden überall freundlich und offen empfangen. Wenige Kilometer entfernt sind zwei schöne Strände. Wir haben das Haus als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge und Wanderungen genutzt, vor allem im Anaga-Gebirge. Man sollte allerdings einen Mietwagen haben. Wenn man sich nach ein paar Tagen an die kurvigen Straßen gewöhnt hat, macht sogar das Autofahren Spaß. Vor Autofahren auf engen Straßen und Gassen und Rangieren sollte man in der Gegend aber keine Angst haben. Wer absolute Stille und Abgeschiedenheit sucht, sollte ein anderes Objekt auswählen. Das Haus liegt im Ort, oberhalb der Straße, auf der ab 6 Uhr Morgens einiges an Verkehr herrscht. Unten an der Straße ist eine Bar, die morgens als Treffpunkt vor der Arbeit dient. Wir haben das als schön empfunden, weil man vom Ortsleben etwas mitbekommt. Die Hunde des Nachbarn bellen häufig. Alles in allem: Das Haus war noch besser und schöner als im Internet beschrieben, die Lage ist herrlich. Unbedingte Empfehlung.
