Always excellent!!
Amazing sprawling property. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of convenient options for food. The included trips to Palomino Island (beautiful private island) and use of the water park were a treat. Very relaxing. Negatives - long walk from our room at the marina to the main pools / gym / most food options. One funicular was down and there is no option to get back to the main area without it. Rooms were a little dated. Food was not bad but was pretty uninspired and very pricy for what it was. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
Very nice resort. Very positive on all fronts except for charging for self parking. $20 a day with tax is not cool as there is no where else to park while staying here. Just be aware of this when you rent a car and come here
I miss it! The views are absolutely gorgeous. The water park was a blast the ferry ride to the beach was nice and the beach was beautiful. The food was expensive and only okay.
Overall the property is beautiful however I found it difficult to navigate. From check in we had asked for a map because we knew things were spread out. It’s a very large property with a furnicular to get from the marina/water park area to the main resort area. Unfortunately the only available thing was the virtual map that didn’t really well outline where things were like restaurants or how to physically get to the different locations on the property. Many of the staff also weren’t sure where certain places were. Room was ok was told it was an ocean view which is was to a point but ground level with distant views through multiple palm trees. The balcony was a perk but it was ground level and was just above the access driveway where staff frequently ride golf carts or resort vehicles on to gain access to the hotel. You can hear the golf carts pretty frequently through the late evening and definitely the early mornings when trying to sleep. The accommodations were nice but the bed was pretty firm and the pillows were small and similar to the size of throw pillows. The staff was all very nice and extremely friendly.
Stunning property. The pools, waterpark, boat to island…all gorgeous and worth every penny. Room was clean and remodeled with comfy beds. Our family enjoyed the coffee shop, popsicle place and juice bar. The other restaurants we tried (ballyhoo and brisas) were incredibly expensive and very “meh”. Our breakfast at Brisas felt especially overpriced for what was basically cafeteria food. So just set expectations accordingly. It ultimately looks like a 5 star resort but still has a ways to go with cuisine and training staff.
Such a nice, beautiful place to stay!
Amazing views , very friendly staff. Originally was going to stay for two nights , but liked it to much so I extended my stay for two more nights. Property is still recovering from hurricane Maria , but they have done a wonderful job so far . Did I mentioned what an amazing view the property has ….
Self parking machines need upgrade - these could not scan the code. There is a place to tap the room key (taped over paper) and that did not work either. The instructions need to be clearer about need for validating the parking ticket with the reception. Reception staff was not very welcoming. The property is large but the rooms leave margin for maintenance.
Alexis from Palomino Island was awesome….
Beautiful views, excellent servicce
Everyone was so nice. It was all around just wonderful
