SDCC Stay
Picked this place for it's distance to SDCC and pricing as well. I didn't realize this place was part of the Wyndham Timeshare places but that was only a plus as when I booked this in VRBO there was not a single review yet and what I saw online were mostly old pictures. The room we stayed at was renovated and clean. It had 2 bdrms and 2 bathrms and a pullout sofa bed in the Family area. AC was cold and good after a long day at the Con. Parking was addtl - $25/day which I didn't like. WiFi was also an addtl cost unless you are a timeshare owner there. They will try and have to join a mtg for the timeshare stuff which we did reluctantly but we opted not to the day of. You have to take a Uber to some offsite location for that apparently. Note that they will keep calling you if you sign up but not go. They kept calling us the morning of our checkout when we're still all tired and trying to sleep. 3 calls later my wife finally answered and told them no and they took back the credit for the parking fees. This is the reason I'm deducting 1 star from the place. If these do not matter to you, it's a great place. The walls are a little thin as I could hear kids outside late at night but that comes with an older structure/apartment/town home.
