The location is a little bit far from the activities but nonetheless is a good location. The mattress was a little bit uncomfortable but you get what you pay for. Hot water and cable TV included. WiFi comes and goes. Overall it was a good stay. Recommended!

Great place for a great price.

A great find in San Cristobal, 4 blocks from the main square - an easy walk. Room was clean and nicely decorated and bathroom was clean,modern and nicely tiled with hot water. Several English language channels on the tv was a bonus. Hotel was quiet, most rooms are through the back of the building, which meant a good night's sleep. Plenty of restaurants only one street away, or in the main square. Bonus points to the extremely kind staff who let me check in early after arriving tired off a night bus so that I could have a sleep before going out exploring. Thank you!

GREAT LOCATION

NICE, COMFORTABLE, QUIET, AND CLEAN. STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND WILL LET YOU CHECK IN EARLY IF THEY HAVE ROOMS AVAILABLE. THE HOTEL IS CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN, BUT THE NOISY NIGHTLIFE IN SAN CRISTOBAL DOES NOT KEEP YOU FROM HAVING A PEACEFUL SLEEP.

Average hotel, really cold at night (no heating)

The hotel is ok, average Mexican hotel. The room was freezing at night, because there is no heating and it is poorly isolated, and in Winter San Cristobal's weather is about 8°C at night. Bed covers were decent, but small, and instead of a thick cover they piled up three different poor ones, making it impossible for you to actually stay warm. Also, we noticed the door did not lock.

Basic hotel close to the main tourist street "Real Guadalupe". The hotel is OK and basic. You will spend most of your time on excursions around San Cristobal de las Casas or in the main tourist street called "Real Guadalupe". This street offers restaurants, shopping, bars and dining. The street is located only about 3-4 blocks from the main street. Service is OK. No breakfast or meals offered. Windows are thinly isolated and sounds from the street come through as does the cold of the highlands. It can get pretty chilly in December at 7,200 feet altitude.

Relatively cheap accommodation, clean, no frills. I would stay here again, it's good value for what you pay. No one spoke English (my problem, not theirs - but worth knowing).

good location, big tv, wet floor

We liked the location of the hotel and the big television. The room was basic but fine, the bathroom was old and after taking a shower the floor was full of water (including in the bedroom a little), but the shower was nice and hot for 10 minutes which is plenty. For the discounted last minute rate we got, it was a good deal but I wouldn't have paid 500 Pesos for this room.
