Can’t fault the amenities (beautiful spa, well planned ski locker room, lots of lounge/sofa space in the reception area, big room sizes with comfortable beds and lots of storage space). We didn’t have a chance to use the games room or the cinema room but hopefully we will next time! The hotel is conveniently located just a few mins walk from the village square therefore many restaurants are nearby. There is a shuttle stop across the road, scheduled every 15 mins, that will take you to the Grand Massif gondola within mins. The hotel also operates its own shuttle free of charge Sunday- Fridays at peak times. If you do happen to miss the shuttle service, the gondola is only a 10 mins walk. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and happy to help with any qs - they were also happy to accommodate our early check in and late check out requests. The only fault we had during our stay was that the reception is unmanned at night and the doors are locked. We had an early flight and so were unable to check out and return our key at 4am - the number for the night manager went unanswered too. We had friends checking out later than us so we were able to leave our key with them, but unsure what we would have done otherwise (and also unsure how we would have settled our breakfast charge and city tax). The self service buffet breakfast is also a little steep at €21pp for the options (mostly continental) menu. €15 would be a more suitable price.

The property, staff and location were all fantastic. The property is by far in a way the best in the area. The lobby, spa and dining options in the property were all 10/10. I stayed in the apartments - I had a two bed and it was super spacious, modern, clean and had everything you could need! Super impressed and will definitely be back!

The attention to detail was spot on, and they even realised it was my birthday during the stay and left a birthday message and small selection of local produce in the room which was a lovely touch and surprise. Just loved this hotel. The interior styling and decor was stunning. Everything was such high quality but at a fair price. The staff were incredibly helpful and supportive. We are getting married in Samoens next year and have recommended Hotel Alexane as a place to stay for our family and guests.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. The staff on reception are amazing. Always happy to help. We were a group of three friends and had a large suite, which was fantastic. The attention to detain is just brilliant. Our room had a big double bedroom with en-suite. There was then and lounge area with dinning table and kitchen, as well as a second bathroom and toilet. Stairs took you up to an open planned upstairs bedroom with four single beds. The kitchen was really well equipped. It had absolutely everything you needed. They even had a little welcome box of cleaning bits, including dishwasher tablets and rinse aid. You can preorder bread and pasties for the following morning from reception the night before, and then you don’t have to go out first thing. Just brilliant. The room had everything you could possibly want and more, including slippers and dressing gowns. The spa is as amazing as it looks in the pictures, although I think the hot tub could do with being a little warmer, but a really great space. The whole hotel is really well decorated/designed and feels warm and cosy from the moment you arrive. Everything is spotlessly clean. I had read that the rooms are not serviced, but this was not the case, and we were offered free daily service at check in. Overall, a perfect ski hotel and I would happily recommend to anyone.

Great hotel, well looked after.

Stayed here for a short 4 day ski break. Lovely hotel, really nice, plush spacious rooms. We had a family suite, 2 double bedrooms, so perfect for 2 adults and two teenage girls. The hotel minibus service to the lift was great as was the good size ski locker that each room has. Staff very friendly and attentive.

Our second visit to this wonderful hotel and yet again did not disappoint. We love Samoens as it is so laid back and perfect for a relaxing holiday and no better place to chill out than the Alexane.
