Good hotel , well priced

Hotel very much caters for the English so is a home from home experience. Food quality is excellent and ample choices and is designed around English eating . I personally would like a Spanish twist to meal choices though Jess (poor side bar man ) did make a very good paella which was much appreciated. Have to mention the coffee isn’t great and I found myself going to a nearby cafe to get a decent coffee. Rooms are quite small and a little basic with a very small shower. Balconies are very small , one chair and tbh you couldn’t sit down as would feel penned in. Thought entertainment was okay however really enjoyed the bingo nights ran by Simon. Simon brings a real energy to all of the entertainment and with his input would rate the entertainment good. A times kids high on sugar/excitement and some lack of parental control was a little annoying however always security around to ensure no major problems . Having 2 pools helps in that you can escape the lively pool over to a more relaxed atmosphere. Hotel was a good 20 mins walk to beach and therefore not the best location. A special mention to Jess and Winston both very friendly and goes a long way for how you experience your stay there . When I consider overall in terms of price paid, hotel and our experience I would rate good. Some are rating excellent which baffles me a bit . Maybe they are the ones with kids high on sugar whilst they let them loose on everyone else 😉.

Lovely staff, especially Winston on the roof terrace bar. Adults only on the roof terrace was a fabulous feature! Food was good, plenty of choice.

Salou’s Little Gem

Our 4th time at this all inclusive hotel. As usual the place is kept spotlessly clean. The hotel strives to create a great family atmosphere providing a safe environment and catering for all age groups - there really is something for everyone. Food and drinks are good value. We will definitely return again next year.

Good budget hotel

Second visit to the Villa Marina. They always do their best to look after you and accommodate your needs. Good selection of food each night including joints of meats. Nelson the barman is a laugh a minute. Cleaners work hard but unfortunately some guests do leave a lot of mess around (rather than simply put their litter in the bins an arms length away!) and they are stretched because of this. Will defo be back though as good budget hotel. Beach is 5-10 mins walk but it's a nice walk with plenty of shops. Do not might the fountain/light show at 10pm every night down at the seafront. It's free but would gladly have paid to watch it!!

estupendo para familias inglesas

tuvimos problemas nada más llegar con el "BONO" que la de recepción nos pedía, x lo que se ve no les sirve con el número de confirmación que te proporciona la página hoteles.com que sí dice que sirve. X suerte tenía el móbil a mano i pude acceder al correo para reenviarselo con todos los datos sinó para casa. De x sí el sitio está alejado de lo que es la zona turística de Salou 15 min. Habitación pequeña , la TV sólo funcionaba 5 canales, 2 de ellos ingleses y tampoco le daban solución. Lavabo enano i la pica de las manos estaba al lado de la puerta x no hablar del ruido que se escuchaba (creemos que era el agua de las tuverías, pero sin poder confirmarlo)jajaja. Tema de limpieza dejaba mucho que desear en TODOS los aspectos, (almohadas, cubertería del restaurante...). Tema de hamacas como si fuera las rebajas (que me las quitan de las manos) Actividades dirigidas para y exclusivamente para los ingleses así como la comida ( nada mediterrania como ponían) y poco variada. El mismo personal se sorprendió de ver españoles. Buen sitio si quieres practicar inglés tu y los tuyos. Decepción calidad precio!!!
