This is a must stay location if you want to be out of the hustle and bustle in the small town of Saint Cyprien, but have access to all the wonders and beauty of the Dordogne region. The hotel is run by a wonderful family who make your stay as pleasant and peaceful as they can. The restaurant is excellent too!

We loved our stay here. The family run hotel was so welcoming and made our stay so comfortable. The dinner and breakfast were exceptional and nothing seemed too much hassle. The room was lovely and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We would definitely return.

Stunning hotel in St Cyprien

A stunning hotel and the most friendly staff - I can’t fault this stay at all! The terrace and restaurant were also amazing, and the town is just a short walk away if you want to explore a bit. Perfect for a couple of days!

A really lovely hotel

A lovely family run hotel with attention to detail and great service. Great location, with a super pool (great for kids). Beautiful views across the hillsides. Breakfast was delicious and very fresh. Friday night BBQ and live music was a lovely experience. We visited a local Thai restaurant on Friday evening, as recommended by the hotel - they weren’t wrong. It was really tasty and the service excellent. All in all would highly recommend and would love to return to Hotel L’Abbaye!

Hotel de l’Abbaye offered almost everything we would need for a fully relaxing and wonderful stay. Once you are in the property you find that it sits on a hill overlooking the surrounding area, has lovely, well-kept and furnished grounds including a big swimming pool. The Maya room we had looked out over the town with beautiful views, a nice sitting room and a big very clean bathroom. The family that runs the Abbaye helped with the luggage and accommodating any requests. Breakfasts were pleasant and could be taken indoors or outdoors on a big terrace. We missed the tiny sign for the Abbaye, so had a lot of difficulty finding it. The parking was either on the street for free or down the street some way for a designated parking space that would cost 15 euros. There were not many people staying there in the off week we visited, so we stayed on the street. There were a couple of really good restaurants nearby, one within walking distance. St. Cyprien was a great, not so crowded town to use as a base for exploring the Dordogne. We would love to return here.

Superbe hôtel

Mon mari et moi avons passé 2 nuits dans cet hôtel et nous l'avons trouvé chaleureux, très propre, refait à neuf avec beaucoup de goût. L'accueil était également très chaleureux. Il est situé dans un très joli village typique de la région. Bref, l'hôtel idéal.
