Spectacular finca with pool and garden on the outskirts of sa Pobla, in the north of Mallorca.

We are delighted to offer this spectacular rustic property located between Sa Pobla and Can Picafort, in a very quiet rural area. This spacious and stylish villa offers all the ingredients for that special family holiday. Inside, the house is spacious and comfortably furnished whilst the cool, shaded terrace overlooking the large swimming pool offers majestic views of the Sa Pobla farmlands. Lovingly furnished, the proud owners have thought of everything.

This wonderful property is located 5 minutes drive from sa Pobla and 10 minutes from Can Picafort and its spectacular sandy beach. Sa Pobla is a quiet town with a lot of personality and full of life. In the main square, the nerve center of the city, you will find numerous cafes, bars and restaurants. Dine in any of these establishments and taste the typical food of Mallorca is a luxury that you can not miss. In addition, in the same square, every Sunday celebrates the weekly market, where you will find fresh fruits and vegetables, a wide variety of cheeses and sausages, and crafts. During the months of July and January the patron saint festivities are celebrated, with a multitude of activities for the whole family and in August we highlight the International Jazz Festival, a must for music lovers.

Villa with potential but needs some love

The stay got off to a bad start when we arrived an hour after our check-in time to find the property had not been cleaned / sheets changed etc. Rubbish all over kitchen floor and a slightly cloudy pool. Cleaning was quickly rectified and we were able to move in after a supermarket shop. Pool cleared over next 24 hours but pool tiles need a good clean up. Patches of ingrained dirt on bottom and scum line green most of way round. Villa is on a great plot with olive and fruit trees and is a pretty stone building. However the furniture and fittings are very tired - felt rather like student accommodation in parts. Owner’s daughter was quick to rectify things we asked for (playable table tennis bats, pegs for washing line) and to try and fix one of the air conditioning units which wasn’t able to cool one of the bedrooms sufficiently. Sa Pobla has a great main square with superb Sunday veg market but little else going on. However lots of good spots on island in easy driving distance. This villa could be much more than it is but some money needs spending on beds, loungers, sofas, kitchen utensils and general fixtures and fittings. And a good clean of the pool and repainting over damp areas in the house would make a big difference.
