Nice, spacious room with a small terrace. The hotel is located on a hill, so be prepared to climb stairs or walk uphill. The staff were friendly but had significant communication issues, spoke little English, and were not very knowledgeable about the hotel's services. They suggested a hike by chat, but when we arrived, they had no idea what we were talking about. We managed to reorganize for the following days, but it was difficult.

Avoid at all costs

I only stayed in the hotel for 1 hour. I was very surprised as this hotel has very good ratings. I was given a standard room with a city view although I booked a deluxe Mountain View panorama view. The room was incredibly dusty and dirty. When I flushed the toilet the floor filled with water. Finally, when unpacking I found 3 cockroaches climbing over my belongings. I left to check into Amazing Sapa Hotel. The staff was very efficient in refunding me.

So glad I booked the balcony room at Panorama hotel. The views are simply stunning. I had requested a high floor, if possible, and we were given 8th floor & the view of surrounding mountains & township was spectacular. The room was very comfortable with usual hotel amenities... kettle, tea, coffee, bottles of water, soaps, shampoo, comb, toothbrush & toothpaste. Could have done with some washers & hand towels though. We only had towels & bath mat. Breakfast was good, with nice clean surrounds. Probably could have had more food options. Hotel had emailed me beforehand re information on trekking tours. We did the 6 hour,12km trek which hotel arranged. Very happy we did this. We are a couple up in their 60's, but thankfully kept up with the other 4 youngies. Our guide was also very good, explaining how all different local groups go about daily life. Beautiful scenery of mountains, valleys & rice terraces. Lunch included. Sapa township is very quaint, quite European in appearance. Plenty of taxis, Grab as well & local bus which goes back & forth every half hour from Lao Chai, where train station is (little over an hour on local bus on return trip). You will see many women selling their wares in town square... be prepared for many following you & wanting to sell.

７階のパノラマビューの部屋にとまりました。部屋からは、街の中心地の広場、教会、登山列車の乗り場になっているホテルが綺麗に見えます。昼間も夜も素敵な景色が見れますが、山の天気は変わりやすく、霧が出れば何も見えなくもなります。部屋の設備には、とても良いと思いますが、タオルがバスタオルしかなく、しかも使い古されていてとても汚かった。 タオルさえなければ最高のホテルだと言えます。 また、現在道を修理しているので、車でホテルロビーまで乗りるけることは出来ません。

The hotel is located at the very top of Sapa town, which gives you the film view og the city and valley. The personel is very friendly and the room was really comfortable. The only downside to the hotel was that the walls wasn’t soundproof.

Spectacular views

Our stay at the Sapa Panorama Hotel was fantastic, great location, shop at the base and beside great value for buying trekking clothing and shoes. Staff were so lovely, friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Massage was great after a day of trekking in the mountains. Breakfast was plentiful, with great variety, we also had lunch and dinner at the hotel - enjoying the views of the mountains. We loved Sapa and would recommend this hotel to others xx
