The apartment is very nice and well located. Listing does not disclose that it is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. Carrying luggage for 4 people was difficult as we are all in our 70’s

Excellent Stay!

The apartment was clean and comfortable. It is located within walking distance of everything we wanted to do in Rouen. Very good communication with the host. Overall wonderful experience!

KITCHEN NOT FUNCTIONAL - electricity blacking out and leaking sink

The apartment is beautiful and well equipped for sleeping. We however, booked the apartment with the expectation of being able to use the advertised fully equipped kitchen to cook enjoyable dinners together with our friends who where travelling with us, as we were travelling with children. There was only a small pan, a size to cook an omelette, and two sauce sized pots. Using the oven and a pot was too much for the ELECTRICITY in the apartment which BLACKED OUT CONTINUOUSLY. We had to turn off all the heating and limit the lights to hold a steady electricity on the kitchen. After speaking with the apartment owner, we where provided with larger pot and pan to be able to cook with. When cleaning up we wanted to use the dishwasher which we couldn't operate. The owner told us that only the cleaner used the dishwasher and didn't provide further explanation. We therefore proceeded to hand wash when the SINK STARTED LEAKING AGGRESSIVELY. When checking the leak we saw that the piping from the sink had not been attached properly and was completely loose. It is evident that the kitchen was only put there to look nice and operate as a place to eat breakfast and order in. We would have appreciated that the apartment would have been advertised as such as we could have picked another one and had our enjoyable dinners together with our traveling friends. SEVERE DISAPPOINTMENT WHICH RUINED OUR TRAVEL EXPERIENCE.
