Good option for an affordable price

Very nice cost-benefit hotel. It's clean, comfortable, and very well located (Right in front Pietralata station). The shower is excellent providing a huge amount of water. If you need some drink or food, the Hotel offers some options to buy in the hall.

Tricked by Hotel Staff

I reserved for 1 night at the hotel. Upon checked in I found I was given the smallest room (long and narrow) on the ground floor (#908), right outside was the street. The window glass was opaque and a street light that would shine through so curtain has to be drawn all the time. (In the morning I also found out that train noise starts at ~6am). I talked to the staff and asked that if I booked 4 more nights, would I be given a better room on the 1st floor? I was told to make the booking first then she would check. Thinking that during the pandemic the hotel would not be fully booked I took her advice. After the booking I was told that there would be no availability and no way to change the room, I was not even offered to move into another room for 3, or 2 or 1 night. She simply would not do anything. I was stuck with the room for 5 nights. I checked hotels.com right away and found that I could reserve 4 rooms for 4 nights, proving availability.

Great, unless you happen to be British or Chinese!

Very clean, nice decor, friendly staff, conveniently close to the Metro line so easy to get to the centre. However, rather disappointing for us as an Anglo-Chinese couple because they have no coffee or tea making facilities in the rooms. When we enquired they could only suggest we use the microwave situated downstairs right opposite the reception desk to boil water, which is a bit awkward when you want a hot drink first thing in the morning before getting up properly. There is a drinks machine in the breakfast room which can provide hot water, but it is only occasionally switched on and when we did use it once we were told it was intended only for the use of guests purchasing breakfast, which we did not want to do. We understand that many hotels in Italy do lack kettles for their guests, but hotels do invariably provide them in both England and China and if they did not they would lose business big time. If Italian hotels do want to make themselves attractive to the British and the (rapidly growing) Chinese markets, they should provide convenient hot water for drinks, even a boiled water urn in the corridor would do (as is available in some of the cheaper guest houses in China).

The metro was just less than a minute away . The room weren't mopped , stained on the floor , there was such a big noise on the second night where we could not sleep and there waste odour coming in the room from the outside which made it unbeareable to sleep and had to check out early morning before 7am .

The location was out of the centre but still very convenient. Fantastic nights sleep on a quiet area with very comfy bed and pillows. We could stream to a chrome cast on the tv too. There was some confusion about check in time as Expedia said an earlier time but the hotel said a later time.

The property is close to a metro station and shopping centre (within walking distance). Staff were for the most part nice. On other occasions they came across as microagressive. The bathromom was also left unclean when we arrived.

Adequate but many problems.

The room was adequate but had several problems. Pros: - great location near a supermarket, a bus stop and literally right above a subway station that brings you to downtown. -check in was swift and smooth. - The room itself was fairly comfortable and had the amenities we required. -The patio was a nice extra touch Cons: - The biggest flaw was how shockingly dirty the room was, especially our floor which was not vacuumed at all before or during our stay. - The air conditioning is disabled unless it reaches a certain temperature outside. Our room was very uncomfortable overnight at 26°C and we sweat a lot while sleeping, with no opportunity to turn on the a/c or a fan. - The shower was inconsistent with it's heat, alternating rapidly between hot and cold. - The TV is a smart TV but didn't have any apps installed and wouldn't connect to the internet at all. - The room electricity switch was inconveniently placed and not marked by a sign at all and we kept turning off the power for the whole room

Pleasant Stay Welcoming Hotel

This new boutique hotel was excellent, clean room well serviced. The manageress was very welcoming and friendly, gave good tourist advice and direction. Nothing was a problem with hotel staff. Basic snacks and drinks available by vending machine 24 seven. The metro station was right out the front door and down a flight of steps, and no more than 15 to 20 minutes into Rome city centre, metro ticket 1.5 Euro. Could not fault this hotel considering the room tariff price very cheap. Also Continental breakfast available daily at 7.00 Euros, again good value and adequate
