Nice views of bay, pool was nice but lacked shade and the pool itself was odd in that it was difficult to stand except in the shallowest part

The house was perfect! We had 7 adults and 4 children. The pool was clean and a hit, the pool house with a half bath was perfect so we didn't track any water going into the house. The house was clean and with 2 full fridges there was plenty of space. And you can't beat the views. Highly recommend!

This trip was a girls get away & we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves .. the house was by far the best I’ve ever rented .. clean, well appointed, & decor was gorgeous … the owner was so attentive & acted on anything we needed right away .. A truly exceptional VRBO property-book it! Extremely clean and perfect for large gatherings, balancing large group spaces (pool area, huge back screened porch, main living room) with more private spaces for small group conversations (front screened porch, side deck with firepit, pool house porch). We’re already planning our next stay!

Great place to relax with a View

We had an amazing time at this property. The entire family loved the pool, and it was a quick drive into town for coffee and walks downtown. New brewery opened up on Main Street and we loved the seafood at various restaurants. This property had all we needed to eat at home, relax and enjoy the family vacation. Plenty of room to spread out and the sunroom and pool room provided shade when we needed it. We also loved the two fire pits with the one near the water great for smores. We sat in the great Adirondack chair to watch the sunset every night.

We love this place!

Third stay here and more to come for sure. Perfect house, awesome pool, and great views. The beach is small but certainly gives the sea glass! And Gunner is the best. See you next year!

Family vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. I gave it 4 stars for cleanliness because there were quite a few dirty dishes and silverware in the cabinets and drawers so we re-washed everything. The gracious owner offered to come over and wash all of the dishes for us. We believe the issue was that the dishwasher wasn't cleaning properly and the cleaning folks put away dirty dishes prior to our visit. The dishwasher was repaired immediately once we told the owner about the issue. Everything else about the house was perfect and very clean! We spent each hot day swimming in the beautiful pool! The owner is extremely responsive to all questions and comments.

Wow, just wow!

We had truly the most amazing stay. The house is set up beautifully for multiple families, so much indoor and outdoor space to spread out and enjoy. The kitchen extremely well stocked, we easily prepared a handful of large meals over the course of our stay and found everything we needed and more. The pool, grounds, and little bay beach had us pretty constantly outside even when the weather was not ideal. So close to Rock Hall and all that there is to enjoy in that idyllic small town. Gunner made everything from booking to checkout as seamless as possible. We hope to be back!

Perfect Reunion!

Gunner's Rock Hall property was perfect for our group of 10 adults and kids from 2 - 12. The property itself was huge and well manicured with amazing views and lots of room for the kids to run and adults to enjoy many gathering areas from the firepit area (where we enjoyed cocktails each evening for sunset) to the lawn for cornhole, to the pool and amazing pool house where we spent an afternoon picking crabs and dipping in the pool. Inside, the house having two level with distinct living areas allowed the older folks to sleep upstairs and the younger families with kids to have the lower level to themselves, which was great. The home is beautifully decorated and clean. The bathrooms and kitchen were standouts! The kitchen was the most well equipped VRBO kitchen I've ever experienced. Thanks Gunner, we will be back!

Amazing family vacation!

This was our second stay and we cannot say enough about this property. It's amazing in every way. The kids love the pool, the grandparents love the comfy chairs and endless views, the parents love the dual kitchens and everyone loves the beach. She may be a tiny spit of sand, but she still provides a ton of sea glass!! Gunner is awesome as well. I give the Lighthouse at Ellendale all the stars!!! We'll be back next year!

Amazing view and great pool

My extended family (8 adults and 3 kids under 5) all stayed here over July 4th weekend and had a blast. The pool was exactly what we needed and the pool house outside was perfect, with comfy chairs, a bathroom, and fridge. There was more than enough space for everyone to spread out and relax.

Fantastic property for R&R, responsive host

We are a group of 3 families with young children who had a fantastic stay for a long weekend together! The pool was amazing (and fully fenced for peace of mind), the house was very well appointed with all the kitchen gear and tons of pool toys and lawn games. We had one small hiccup with the HVAC system and the host was extremely prompt with getting someone out to fix it right away. We loved this place!

Great time with Family and Friends

This house was more than we expected, way above our expectations! Perfect getaway for a peaceful (AND fun) family vacation. The house comfortably accommodated our family of 14, including 4 children. The house, pool and view were so beautiful, with amazing sunsets every night. Gunner, the owner, was very welcoming, communicative, and helpful with any questions we had. The place was spotless upon arrival, thanks to Gunner's cleaning team. The house was well stocked with spices, kitchenware (pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups, coffeemaker, etc.). We brought our own groceries and did not have to, nor want to, leave the premises for the days we were there. Even the kids said they wished that we didn’t ever have to leave because it was so nice!

Great location - perfect for a family reunion

The layout of the property was excellent - a screened in porch overlooked the pool and a view to the Chesapeake. The pool provided hours of sunbathing and games. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Worked well for group ages 21 to 82.

Family vacation July27, 2023

Our family stay was wonderful, the house was spacious and the property was beautiful, incredible views of the bay. A bald eagle flew over several times while we were in the pool. Gunner was amazing and very hospitable. We highly recommend this place and plan on returning.

A Return Trip

My family and I returned to this glorious vacation home for a second time. We loved it so much the first time we couldn't resist, and we were not disappointed. The pictures are not deceiving. Wonderful family vacation

Our family had a great time, we enjoyed the pool & ample space for cooking, puzzles, relaxing & resting. The Osprey Inn was a great dinner spot, groceries were affordable & within a quick run. We saw bald eagles every day & enjoyed beautiful sunsets over the Chesapeake.
