Great place to stay and facilities . Food was underwhelming , menu was limited , but thr snapper and ceviche were great options . Funny thing though I ordered the beef tartar which was great but the bread they gave it with was stale white bread instead of a toasted sourdough , the cereal was also stale . But def recommend for everything else

Room was great, clean, and coffee restocked daily. Note that there were 3 steps up to the bedroom and the walk to the unit is very steep. There is NOT a business center so bring your own computer if necessary. The TVs are large but not Smart - no streaming. Food was average and alcoholic beverages weak. Service was friendly but not well trained- how about a straw with a drink? For the price that we paid (especially the daily fee) I expected much more. Will not return.

Property is beautiful. Beach is beautiful. Staff would benefit from customer service workshops/ training. Staff was not very attentive or welcoming. They were kind of just there. A tour of the grounds would be helpful during check in process. We had to ask where the gym is and direction were just like over there. Food is pretentious and overpriced. It’s odd to be in Honduras and Honduran food not be highlighted on the 3 restaurants on property. Thank God for a short walk to la placita with great food. Fire alarm went off on my floor two nights in a row and as alarming as it was front desk was unaware of these two instances and had to be notified. This is the best beach location and nicest property on west bay. Transportation on shuttle is not included which is ridiculous with such an expensive stay and 160 for round trip transportation is pretty ridiculous. But the beauty of this beach and perfect location for snorkeling may outweigh these cons. This is my third time at this resort since 2018 and it has lost its family feel for “luxury” feel.

Please read if you're looking to stay here! It was very clean, nice rooms, beautiful resort, staff was very kind on property, amenities were great. Food was amazing, please note at the Sea Cat, tip is included in the bill. I will say, we had to buy toothpaste upon arrival and for a small tube of toothpaste at the resort store it was $17 USD, which I found outrageous. So please, if you need to buy something, buy off property. Do not sit directly on the chairs at the beach unless you want to be hassled every few minutes to buy something from sellers on the beach (beach is public). The excursions and trips we booked through the concierge essentially sucked except for the dolphin encounter. The snorkeling we did on the beach in front of the resort was better than the snorkeling we paid for off the beach. Bring cash because ATMs charge an arm and a leg. If you are a traveller that likes to just lounge by the beach or pool, this is the place for you 100%. If you like to adventure off property, the activities and things to do in the area were not great.

This is the most fabulous resort--the location on a stunning beach, the exquisite pool, the excellent food and the fantastic service make it EXCEPTIONAL. The great manager Belikis, the outstanding concierge, Lea, the chefs Ivan and Guido, Carson at the pool and the entire staff at the restaurant Alera for breakfast and the wonderful Arnold--Big win!!!!! Great vacation!!!
