Had a great family getaway with my parents and sister. Loved the couch as it held the whole family The kitchen had all the essentials needed. Loved the sitting area while drinking coffee and observing the mountains. It was a perfect vacation and Mrs. Brenda was informative before we arrived. Thank you Mrs. Brenda.

This is a beautiful home to rent. Nicely equipped with everything you might need. Nice size bedrooms, a great rec room for adults and kids. Kitchen was awesome. Everything was very clean! The views from the sitting room and decks are gorgeous.

Magnificent views and cozy home

This was the perfect place to stay for our daughter’s wedding that was in State Road at Whispering Ridge Farm! The owner’s were amazing when we had an issue with the oven. Very responsive and super helpful. The real wood-burning fireplace was an added bonus! Very relaxing decks with magnificent views! Would definitely stay here again!

Very homey, well equipped, bedrooms were spacious. The sunroom off the main living area was great for gathering in the morning with our coffee. A good time was had by all. Lovely home. Thanks for the wonderful accommodations!

Men's Golf Getaway

Seven gentlemen celebrating turning 60, spent three nights in this well appointed home with incredible mountain views. Brenda was a great hostess and responsive to any and all questions. I'll be back with my family.

Thanksgiving in the Mountains 2023

We absolutely loved Bella Vista. We came to Roaring Gap to spend the week visiting family over Thanksgiving and were looking for someplace close to our other family members in High Meadows that would allow us to enjoy a week in the mountains. Everything about Bella Vista was perfect for our trip! Brenda is incredibly helpful and accommodating - the perfect host. The pictures on VRBO cannot begin to show how truly lovely the house and the views are. We had plenty of room to spread out. The big livingroom was perfect for gathering around the fireplace. Our kids loved the games downstairs. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. We were all cozy in the bedrooms. And we loved the separate seating areas by the windows both upstairs and downstairs. We definitely would rent the house again!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Family Reunion

This place is unbelievable. You probably cannot find a better view in the state of NC. House is very clean, well stocked kitchen, great grill. Frank and Brenda are the best host ever. We hiked to Stone Mtn Falls, explored the area and played some golf. The area is awesome. We will definitely be booking this house again. Our family reunion there made all 11 family members smile for 3 full days and well beyond.

Serenity in the mountains

What a beautiful property! It was a great house for a gathering of friends! Incredibly well stocked with a lot of rooms recently updated. The views of the mountains from the decks and large windows are fabulous. Very quiet upscale community. A perfect stay!

Great Place for a Getaway

We had a reunion with a groups of friends, all of whom are silver haired. The house was well appointed, was in a quiet mountain area and had a beautiful view. It held seven adults easily with lots of room to spread out our gather as we wished.

Merlefest Retreat

Brenda was very easy to communicate with, accessible and accommodating. This house has an amazing view that changes with the weather. You couldn’t imagine a better layout to hang out and accommodate a group to gather. It is a top notch, comfy, well appointed house. Love Roaring Gap for a getaway.
