Fish & float the Little River, Canoe the New River, Golfing, Hiking, Blue Ridge Parkway all close activities.

This house was perfect for our weekend stay visiting Sparta for a wedding! Susan is so incredibly nice and accommodating, you can tell she really cares for her guests. The cabin was spacious enough for 5 adults and offered ample parking. If we’re ever in the area again, I will definitely consider rebooking!

Such an isolated, beautiful cabin on a peninsula to the little river! So peaceful! The kids loved playing on the sand hills that were made after hurricane Helene came through the area. Four fish were caught!

My family had an excellent time in sparta. This cabin is in a great location of Sparta. Very private and the creek by the house was very peaceful listening to from the porch. Some small walking trails on the property too. We had everything we needed in this cabin. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

We booked this cabin somewhat last minute for a quick getaway to see some family. Location was right outside Sparta and an easy commute. Property was very clean and had all the basics. Really enjoyed the remote feel of the cabin and the kids enjoyed playing near the river. Overall will likely be back if the need arises.

The cabin was as described. Very pretty property with a river running around the property. The cabin had an ample supply of towels and cooking utensils. Cabin was located close to downtown Sparta with a few restaurants, a grocery store, and shops.

Cabin by the river

Very cute cabin close to Sparta. Location was great. Despite other reviews my GPS found this place with no problem. Aside from low stock of paper goods (which really wasn't an issue as we got more in town) it was great. Yes floors are creaky. It’s an old house. It is part of the charm. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect setting!

If you are looking for a peaceful setting and love nature, this is the place for you. Not a lot of frills, just your basic comforts for sitting out by the fire and listening to the river. From inside you can still commune with nature and watch the trees and stars from the wonderful high windows. Would not be really good for six adults (not enough seating) but great for four. We hope to go back again and again!

We wanted to get away for some rest and relaxation. This was accomplished! We fished, played in the river, enjoyed watching the deer, and explored. Our fur baby also had a great time! This was an awesome cabin. I love that it is located in the bend of the river..my dog and I walked by the river everyday. It was secluded but close to town. We are already planning another trip there.. We could not get the gas fireplace to light so Susan took time out of her Sat afternoon and came over helped us.. HIGHLY recommended!! We love the little town of Sparta
