Rivière du Rempart Vacation Packages

Very weird vibe, internet worked only in the common areas not in the rooms, so all the men were out making phone calls till late at night, which was obviously disturbing, given the poor isolation. Loud doors, including the bathroom, the place is a proper 2* , barely good for a night over with an early departure.

Preskil Island resort was such a gem for our honeymoon. Had everything we wanted. The beach is absolutely amazing. They had inclusive boating activities like canoeing, pedal boat etc which made it easier for us to enjoy the ocean without leaving the resort. Very close to the airport as well. We stayed there for the first half of our trip and returned for the last night just cause we absolutely loved the place. Highly recommend for anyone.

We had a relaxing stay overall. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the beach was lovely. However, recurring issues with communication, follow-through and attention to detail affected our experience. On arrival, the robe was dirty and a few items had been left by previous guests. Before arrival, I asked about a special dinner but was directed towards the usual restaurants. During our stay, we discovered private dining was an option. We were also incorrectly told entertainment was only on Thursdays and Saturdays, so missed a live performance. Food was disappointing and did not feel like fine dining, with inconsistent quality and incorrect orders. Being half board, we ate out more than planned due to the food and drink quality. Smaller requests, including water deliveries, were missed, and promised feedback at check-out did not happen. Sound insulation through the connecting door was poor, with the neighbouring shower, TV and toilet clearly audible. The evening atmosphere felt more procedural than relaxed, with the bar winding down around 9:40pm, music turned off while staff completed paperwork. Dimitry on the beach deserves special mention for being consistently welcoming and attentive. The spa was clean and our couples massage was excellent, with special thanks to Greeta and Sandy. We hope this feedback is taken constructively, as clearer communication and better follow-through could make a real difference.

The area around was nice. Property fairly clean. Great weather. No complaints here. Service on another hand was hit or miss. Bartenders were great. Wait staff at the buffet were from nice and helpful to forgetful what you asked for to zero interest. There was a male server who completely ignored us two mornings in the row to the point that did not bring coffee not even acknowledged of saying good morning. We sat to the different station from there on. Food was ok. The only edible meat was the lamb and rotisserie chicken. Any seafood was severely overcooked. Couldn’t cut thru beef or pork with the steak knife. The grand finally was that front desk forgot to call for the taxi so I had to ask them when it didn’t show up on time. Good thing taxis were camping out just outside of the hotel. All in all it was OK. We made the best of it.
