Overall the property is great for families because it has the water park. The outdoor pools need urgent maintenance with concrete areas around the pool with large cracks and chunks of concrete missing. Rooms are spacious and updated recently. Has that Northwoods decor which we were looking for.

Book early for the summer, as they get sold out! Rightly so, as the rooms are clean, recently remodeled, and the water park is fantastic for the kids to run out their energy and adults to relax poolside or in the indoor-outdoor hot tub! The staff is so kind and helpful, they make it easy to relax. The continental breakfast is good - there's a waffle maker, so that's a step-up from most other hotels, and lots of other options, including boiled eggs and yogurt for protein options. Highly recommend staying here!

Facility was recently updated and looks nice on inside. They allow camps to come in and overrun pools though which was unfortunate.
