Front counter was very nice, stayed 3 nights and room wasnt cleaned before we got there. Table between beds had sticky rings and spills from cups, let my kid crawl around on carpet, then noticed his legs and knees were very dirty. A closer look at the carpet and you could tell it hasnt been vacuum or shampooed in a long time. Carpet smelt bad. Asked a guy that was cleaning if they could vacuum and clean room no staff came to room to replenish towels or toilet paper. Room

1. The room was not properly cleaned, and basic amenities, such as a phone charger near the bed, were missing. 2. The bathroom was unclean and damaged, particularly the shower area. 3. The door cannot be securely locked from the inside due to misalignment; only the chain lock works, creating a safety concern. 4. The fridge freezer was full of ice, causing items throughout the fridge to freeze unexpectedly. 5. There were numerous flyers scattered throughout the room. 6. Although the room had two beds for three guests, there were limited towels and napkins. 7. Kitchen accessories were insufficient, and the provided checklist was inaccurate, which could potentially affect our deposit. 8. There was a strong smell of heavy weed smoking throughout the building and in our room, which was unpleasant and concerning. , the overall ambiance made us feel like we had stepped back into the 1970-80s

Yes it was clean but the whole property is sprawling and covers two buildings. The accessible parking is right beside the smoking area which is just wrong. Also the pool was drained and there was no mention of the pool closed. There may be a Denny’s on site but you have to access it from outside. Simply not worth the money.

Sandman is not the greatest

This is not a comfortable hotel. No elevator. Had to stay on second floor. Carpets and room are dated and bed is a big lump. Not great value for what we paid.

My stay at Sandman Revelstoke

The Sandman Hotel in Revelstoke was a nice location, with clean rooms, courteous staff, and convenient access to the Denny's restaurant. My only negative was that the pool and hot tub in the Selkirk wing were empty, and the staff at check-in did not know.
