This is the only hotel right at the ski hill, with ski-in option. You should expect to pay a bit more for that privilege, and it also comes with the amenities. Free ski locker, hot tubs and heated pool, bakery and restaurant, ski rental on site, heated underground parking garage with free parking , free hot tea and coffee through out the day - all nice add-ons. It is a good 15 minute drive outside the town of Revelstoke, and there is a shuttle bus for $4 into town. Our 2 bedroom condo was well equipped, and we loved the two very spacious bathrooms with floor heating in each. Kitchen had all the appliances needed. The living room and dining room area was a bit tight for four people, but doable. Friendly service. The only major complaint is the WIFI service. It’s free, but extremely slow and makes it a frustrating experience. I would rather pay for a better service...
We had such a pleasant stay at the Sutton Place Hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. We had a beautiful view from our balcony. We had asked for a room not facing the pool area. We had rented a suite that could accommodate 4. We had a Master Suite with a king bed, a separate bedroom and a pull out couch. The separate room was a nice adequate size. The suite had a nice modern kitchen, small dining table and a laundry room (with washer/dryer) where you can store your coats and extra items. This is one of the best places we had stayed at and would definitely return again.
I was travelling with 2 friends and we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite, we only booked a couple of days before as a 1 night stop travelling through the Rockies (last year) The apartments are really lovely, well kept and have all the facilities you need. We needed a relaxing evening mid trip and so just visited the local stores for food and drinks and cooked a meal at the apartment. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook, bedrooms were very comfortable and nice bathrooms. I would like to go back when its snowing
I was stayed at this Hotel on 2014, I know it was way too long ago, But if you have plan holiday to Canadian Rockies, you should try to stay at this one. The scenery around was so beautiful, the staff was helpful and the room is so big, like a apartment. It has laundry room, living room, kitchen with full set stove & so on, 2 bed rooms, and veranda with beautiful view. and not forget to mention the breakfast restaurant, You have to take a gondola ski type to the uphill, it is the location of the restaurant, and it was a big auditorium with buffet style. actually the buffet was standard not too fancy, and i feel a bit messy, but don't worry, the view will take your breath away. hopefully you will enjoy your stay and i really hope i can go back there again, not part of business but leisure :)
Had a great stay here. Beautiful room with a washer and dryer and full kitchen. Comfy beds. Nice bathrooms. Nice location. Nice staff. Really nice place. We looked into staying there during the ski season those prices were kind of crazy for what it is. But off season it was fantastic value.
We passed through Revelstoke twice during our trip this Autumn. We were driving from Vancouver to Banff and stayed at this hotel in Revelstoke during the trip there and back. Good service, comfortable rooms and basic amenities like washer, dryer and a kitchenette.
I just booked a week with this hotel during the ski season, "ski and stay", all inclusive. Except it's not. As soon as I booked it & paid for it, I got an email saying I would have to pay another $23.50 per room per night, "resort fee". That is sneaky, and bad business.
We were there in off season so the hotel was quiet. We stayed in the two bedroom suite and it was just beautiful, I was very impressed with the comfort and quality. Just the luxury I felt like! We ate in the restaurant next door, very nice food and a good range of wine. We also rode the Pipe and that was a lot of fun. But most of all I'd like to thank the staff for being amazing and going above and beyond. My daughter left her beloved Pooh Bear in the hotel lobby, we didn't realise until we were way too far away to turn back. We called and the staff arranged a courier to return him (see photo). To the amazing staff thank you, Pooh made it home and I have a very happy 10 year old.
Needed a hotel to break up the drive from Vancouver to Calgary and decided on Sutton Place. Sunday night before the ski season so hotel was quite empty which was nice. Staff at the front desk were very informative and were able to give us a government rate with my military ID which was appreciated. Room was clean, spacious and exactly what we were looking for. King bed was soft and sheets were the same. Would definitely recommend and will stay again if we need a place in Revelstoke.
Lovely hotel, very modern super friendly and welcoming staff. Child friendly. Received a room upgrade on arrival. Comfortable and clean rooms. Great kitchen and stocked with everything you would need. Plenty of eating areas around. Right in the centre of revelstoke resort so you don’t have to leave. Great amenities.
