This place was beautifully decorated, clean, and in a safe neighborhood with short drives to everywhere in Raleigh. My husband and I had the best weekend and enjoyed relaxing in this townhome. Highly recommend!
The neighbor was amazing, very peaceful and quiet. The house was very beautiful and clean. Everything that needed was supplied by the host. Also the host was super helpful and responded really quickly. This was an amazing house to stay at. Thank you to the host for providing a great experience!
Long Lake is such a great neighborhood for families, especially if you have small children. We enjoyed exploring Raleigh and coming back to the house to relax or enjoy the community pool.
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The neighborhood was quiet and the home spacious and comfortable. The hosts quickly responded with any questions and we're always helpful.
I am submitting a formal complaint regarding my recent stay. I selected this property based on the host’s repeated assurance that two of the bedrooms had televisions. I did not discover until check-in that this was not true. When I raised the issue and asked about compensation, the host dismissed it as a misunderstanding.During the stay, a sheriff arrived to serve court documents to the homeowner, which was disturbing and required me to explain that I was not the owner. Additionally, the fireplace stopped working, and the downstairs HVAC would not heat above 70 degrees during a cold week. A technician was sent but was not informed about the fireplace and instead performed unrelated repairs in the garage, using excessive WD-40, which caused a strong odor throughout the house for over a day.Overall, the stay involved misrepresentation, unresolved maintenance issues, and an uncomfortable legal situation. This experience was disappointing and warrant review. Didn’t realize till near the end of my stay that I think this homeowner uses a 3rd party service to managed the hosting for this property. Which explains the quality of the customer service.

Host needs to go back to hospitality school
The property is very nice, house is clean and well apportioned. The host however, was very uncooperative. He was not flexible at all, not helpful, and even after he charged me extra for early checkoutl, He locked the house remotely before the checkout time and we were stuck with all our belongings inside. We actually had to contact the owner directly to get back into the house. If you need any flexibility or help while you are there, don’t rent. If you can be self-sufficient. The house is 😍.

Overpriced townhouse. It was pretty, but there are rigid rules.
This townhouse is overpriced. While the finishes and furnishings are very nice and the townhouse is lovely, this is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom townhouse with a queen bed in each bedroom (there is also a sitting area/bonus area between the bedrooms upstairs). Six of us stayed here along with a baby. One of my children had to sleep on a couch each night since the beds were all queen sized and he was not going to sleep with his sister. (No pull out couches). There was no ice in the unit of any kind–the icemaker did not work, there were no ice trays nor was there bagged ice in the freezer. The bed in the master bedroom was hard. The heater in the “backyard” was not working. (My son-in-law who is mechanically inclined and often uses propane heaters could not get it started so I’m quite confident it is really broken. He said there was a problem with the line on the heater). This listing says that it is in the “Long Lake” area, however, there is no lake view from the property and no lake anywhere in sight. We did not pass a lake coming into the property or at any time while we were there. I’m embarrassed to say how much we paid to stay here–it was way too much and I feel taken advantage of. My biggest issue was the fact that the owner would not allow us to have my adult niece and her 2 school aged children come for Thanksgiving (day after Thanksgiving, but it would be our Thanksgiving dinner with her) dinner (I made it very clear more than once that they would not be staying overnight; it would simply be a dinner lasting a couple of hours at the most). I let them know how important it was to us yet they did not budge or even offer ideas of how it might work somehow. We were told that the maximum number of people allowed in the property was six (6). However, the dining room table was large and had eight (8) chairs around it. There was also a kitchen table with four (4) more seats and then additional barstool seating (at least 2 maybe 3) at the counter. There was more than enough room and seating. This was simply ridiculous! Because of the this, my family sat outside in the 40 degree weather shivering with no source of heat with my niece & her two girls eating a meal that I had worked hard to prepare in order to TRY to make it a special time…we tried to make the best of it. Our family had not been all together with them in more than a year. Everyone was disappointed. It was cold & the owner seemed cold-hearted. My niece cried-- not in a good way :(
