Such a beautiful property! Eli was the young lady that helped me check-in. She gave me a great explanation about all the hotel amenities and what was nearby. The pool area was beautiful. Very relaxed vibe all around. They are a couple of blocks from the beach and lots of dining options. Excellent location. There are amazing food options a short cab ride away. However, they also have a small restaurant inside of the hotel that serves typical Mexican food. Portions were good, food was delicious, and it was fairly priced. Room was nice and well kept. I didn’t take advantage of yoga, but nice to see that they offer it. Appreciate that the pool was open until 10pm each night. Looking forward to visiting again!

The staff were all warm and friendly and helpful. It felt like being part of a small community. There was a peaceful or restful ambiance. Loved the free morning yoga classes and they were held in a beautiful space so conducive to this type of class. Also enjoyed the mid day water aerobics classes which had a sense of bonhommie with the guests/participants. Our room was spacious, comfortable and colourful. Enjoyed yummy and healthy breakfast options. Overall, a sense of relaxation, like an oasis each time we opened the gate to the property. Beach a short easy walk nearby.

A peaceful oasis! We stayed in the Cocos room and were lucky to enjoy the sunset every evening from our terrace. The pool was gorgeous and we spend most of the afternoons lounging there. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend.

Hidden gem in Puerto Escondido

Casamar Suites perfectly captures the chilled vibe of Puerto Escondido! From the moment I arrived, I was met with the warmest of smiles from Indra. I hadn't eaten all day and arrived late in the afternoon. I was a bit too exhausted to try and look for food, and Indra came to the rescue by finding a local restaurant that delivered. All of the concierge staff were above and beyond responsive and helpful. Checking on me daily and offering to get anything I needed. I had the Coco room and it was magical! Having a private terrace, a clean and comfortable hammock, and an amazing view of the beach was good for the soul. The room is perfect for a weeks' stay and the only setback is you may never want to leave Casamar or your terrace! The owners (Don Wil & Ted) and the manager (Luis) go out of their way to meet all of the guests. On Tuesdays they host a meet and greet dinner o bring all of the guests together. I did not want for anything, and will definitely return, and highly recommend! The kitchen "moms" made excellent breakfasts and lunches, it was nice to wake up to free café and have a filling breakfast to start the day. The pool is not heavily chlorinated which was a huge plus! AND, they offer FREE yoga every morning as well as water aerobics in the afternoon. Rosario was a great teacher, and also gave me the most relaxing, full body massage that had me floating out the door. There are tons of places to stay in PE, but if you are looking for a low-key magical week -

The place is nice, clean and the owner and staff are very friendly. Location is awesome. On tuesday night there is a welcome dinner, it is an amazing experience, and food is yummy. The swimming pool is very clean and big. it is open from 7 am, til 10 pm. There are plenty restaurants nearby the hotel, but to be honest, is pretty expensive. Prices are thinking for foregneirs. The only bad thing was that there is no food in the hotel from 5 pm. and in sunday, there is any food because the restaurant is close.
