This is not a destination, but a place to stay overnight on the way to somewhere else. This hotel is at a junction of the M6, and we were on our way from the Lake District to mid-Wales. We shared the dining room and bar with a coach party on the way to Scotland, and the staff made sure that everyone was served promptly. The hotel had everything we needed: clean and comfortable bedrooms, good wifi, decent food... I have always had good experiences at Holiday Inn Express, whether at an airport or by a motorway, and this didn't disappoint.

Good location. The park near by is a nice walk with wild deer if you’re lucky to see them, which we did. Very friendly and helpful staff at the hotel. Room was clean with plenty of room. Parking and breakfast is also included. We had our evening meal in the hotel which was delicious. Would recommend and definitely stay again
