Lovely room, but bad sound transfer from upstairs

I got upgraded to a lovely room on the ground floor. I was amazed when I opened the door and saw the layout, it was really really lovely. However the biggest issue I had was with the elephant sleeping upstairs. The noise transfer from the rooms upstairs is horrific! The banging of feet, and the constant creaking floorboards kept me awake most of the night. I had to endure this as I battled to sleep throughout the night - he was walking around at 1am, 2am, 3am....it was awful! I would only stay there again if I had a top floor room.

We picked a room with a nice shower and bathroom ,on arrive we were give what they conciderd to an upgrade, but was a small shower and not nice decoration, it also smelled of dog.not the best stay.The entrace smelt of wee too.

Booked the flamingo room. Unfortunately there was an ant problem by the door in the kitchen. Overall its beautifully decorated, modern, bathroom was lovely. Wasn’t a fan of the kind of see through bathroom wall. Great hot drink options. It took me forever to work out the front door.

Communication w hotel and staff was exceptional, accommodated an early check in. Rooms are funky and interesting, you ll definitely remember staying there, perfectly equipped, clean, great location. Everything within walking distance. Couldn't have asked for more.

Beautiful hotel

Beautiful hotel. It smells amazing as you walk in. The instructions we received were clear and we even had a complimentary upgrade to the penthouse. So happy with our stay. Comfortable beds which we have not found in any other hotel we have stayed! Clean, complimentary coffee etc. We stay in preston several times a year as our daughter is at university, and normally stay in the travellodge which was rather grim. So pleased we have found this hotel. Literally in the centre of town, car park across the street. Staff were happy and so polite. Hopefully, it'll be available when we next go to preston.

You need to climb 3 flights of stairs to the top floor rooms, so this is not suitable if you have mobility issues. The property is very new, with a very nice bathroom and the bed is comfy. A lot of self-catering accommodations can have terrible beds, so this is a plus. However, I think it is misleading to call it a "one-bedroom apartment", as the kitchenette is right beside the bed. This is more a studio. The kitchenette is not well-equipped, there was one pot and some cutleries, so it is not suitable for cooking a full meal. The w Wick fragrance in the room was overpowering, and we had to wrap it in a plastic bag to stop the smell from escaping during our stay. No parking right outside the building, the nearest car parks are 10 minutes walk away.

Perfect Penthouse

We were upgraded to penthouse so it was fab. That said check in details weren’t sent and I had to call a few times to get them. When I got them over the phone they were incorrect. Ken saved the day when we arrived. He was a gent. Penthouse was lovely.
