Family weekend @ the lake

Kelly was very gelpful and was quick to reapond. She helped us get in touch with the right person to rent a boat slip at the near by comminity park. The property description was accurate. Check in was a breeze. The house was well stocked.

Great accommodations and location.

This is the third year my family has stayed at this property. It’s a short walk or one-minute drive to a small beach and picnic area. It’s close to Little Mineral Marina where we meet our fishing guide.I only wish the kitchen had some newer pots and pans. The outdoor space is a great asset. There is a nice patio area in the front and plenty of parking.We will definitely return next year.

Couldn’t ask for a better location!

We were meeting family for a quick lake getaway and this property was such a great fit for us! Plenty of amenities on the property and we were a short walk away from the water. Our dogs loved it, we loved it and can’t wait to visit again!

Everything was amazing nice quiet place for a gateaway however I just wish the boat ramp was lil more better and safer to get off the boat 2 docks were privately owned which was a boomer to get off the boat. However great place 😀

We had parked cars at the property for family that stayed other places, to be able to walk to the water witch home is not right in front of the lake you can’t see the water from this home. We also left home not spotless but no trash nothing we stripped all bedding and beds just regular stay mess.. This women called yelling and causing saying we trashed her place because it needed to be mopped and bedding and towels needed To be washed. We did the dishes put them away. Apparently amenities in this stay are not to be used I was hoping when you stay someone where they do this after each stay.

Perfect home by the lake!

We had a terrific experience, Kelly was great and the communication was the best we have had to date! The house was clean, property was great, true to listing and it was so close to the lake which made getting the boat in and out of the water a quick process. We will definitely be back!

Second stay at this location.

This is our second time to stay at this house. It’s large enough for our group of 5. The location is great. Just a short walk to a small beach and picnic area. Easy access to the marinas for fishing. Very easy to work with the owner.

Great place for a relaxing, peaceful vacay!

My husband and I met our godson and his wife here. We had a wonderful time barbecuing on the grill outside and sitting around the fire pit just visiting and relaxing. The two bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house, so we all had our own private space. We enjoyed going to the Island View Park just down the road. I recommend staying here if you want to get away for some peace and quiet.

Great Family Getaway

We had a short family get together! The house was perfect for it. Great kitchen and large family room with plenty of seating and enough room for everyone to have their own space. Great outside area pretty close to the lake. Unfortunately due to all the rain lately the lake level was up and the sandy beach was covered up with water. We were able to go a mile down the road and rent a boat to get out on the lake. It was so easy to reserve and Kelly the host was always available for questions it was really a perfect spot for what we needed.

Great Christmas

Great communication with host. We were able to check in early without an extra charge, which is nice when you are from out of town. The property was just as shown in the pictures. Nice and roomy and clean. My only negative comment for the price of the property, would be that it wasn’t stocked very well for as many people we had staying for three days, we had to buy toilet paper. And body soap. Be sure to bring bottled water. The water is not drinkable. My grandchildren were afraid to stay in the bunk room because the shutters didn’t pull down. But we had a great time. And at Christmas time the Christmas tree that was provided by the host was a big plus. It was quiet and peaceful. I would recommend the property.

Great Place

We had a great time! The living room is a perfect size and has good furnishings for gathering and visiting, with visiting grandchildren playing all around us and in the yard. The kitchen is fully equipped and convenient. Everything was clean and well-organized and decorated. Cute beach and lake decor throughout the house. The short walk down the hill (and back UP) to the beach was very nice. We especially enjoyed building a fire in the fireplace -- not many places let you. Also glad our dog was allowed -- there is even a dog bed! The four-stars on accuracy of online listing was due to an error that said there was a fourth bedroom with a fold-out futon. Never existed and the host has corrected the listing. We'll book it again in the future, most likely. God bless everyone who stays here.

Getaway to see son and grandsons

Loved the location. Easy walking distance to lake with our Labrador and grandsons. We got to play fetch with our dog several times, and play with the grandsons on the beach. The house was perfect, the room setup was exactly what we needed for the adults and kids. Fire pit was awesome, and the grill was fantastic, some of the best burgers and steaks we have made!! The beds were very comfortable and the layout was good so everyone got their privacy if needed. I would totally use again if available for our next trip.
