We stayed at Eurostars Porto Douro for three nights in December and had a very pleasant experience. The breakfast was a highlight, with an excellent variety including hot dishes like eggs and roasted vegetables, fresh fruit and vegetables, cheeses, yogurt with toppings, pastries, breads, juices, and good coffee. Our room had a lovely river view, and we appreciated being able to open the windows for fresh air. The staff were very attentive. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Very good location, just 10 min walk to the touristy area and another 10 min to the moderner city center. 15 min to across the bridge Gaia section. It was a very clean hotel; my husband did not find the bed very comfortable. I was happy with it tough. The bathroom was pretty new and updated but if you are detail-oritented person like me, you can notice the mold in between the marble tiles.; could have been cleaned better. Normal eyes may not even cath it though, to be fair.

Two young women at front counter were exceptional with providing info, welcoming us , offering tarts and a complimentary taste of port . Our reservation said VIP so was to have a bottle of wine but we never received one despite asking . Lovely room - nice view - loved comfy bed and linens and the location was wonderful to restaurants , sights and wineries.
