This is a great place with an ocean view in Ponta Delgada. We loved everything about it. Suitable for couples traveling. The employees are more than welcoming, lovely breakfast, very clean, modern design.

What an awesome find. Small walk-up hotel with the friendliest staff, good beds, great breakfast, and convenient to Ponta Delgada, just a 15 minute walk. MY only concern would be finding parking in high season, but it was no problem for us in November.

Beyond my expectations

The staff were absolutely wonderful and went out of their way to help and assist in every way possible. The hotel was lovely and comfortable - even with having a shared bathroom. And the view of the ocean from the bed was an added bonus. A big thumbs up and highly recommended.

First but not last visit

Very pleasant stay, spacious comfortable room, friendly helpful staff and manager. Will use on my next visit with my wife this time. It is a 20 minute walk along the beach front to the town centre which in the rain resulted in a thorough soaking. The alternative is a low cost taxi ride. There are a couple of bicycles for guest use. Overall a good experience

Lovely modern guesthouse

We really enjoyed our brief stay here. We arrived around midnight and Oliver was super welcoming and friendly even though I'm sure we had kept him at work very late. The room was first rate, spacious, with a nice courtyard view and an excellent shower. It was a bit tricky to find at night. If you are using Google Maps, it may indicate that it's on the wrong side of the street. Loved Casa de Ilha and Ponta Delgada!

Cozy room and really friendly staff! I like the home style feel. The only downside was that we were on the third floor with no elevator, which I didn’t realize at booking. Also found some parts of the building construction a bit “off” - the bathroom door didn’t close without a good heavy push, and my phone charger tripped the lights at one point.

Es war alles perfekt! Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und sauber, Frühstück hervorragend und das Personal sehr freundlich. Man findet in der Nähe immer einen Parkplatz. Check-in/out lief reibungslos. Architektur der Hauses ist beeindruckend und mal was anderes. Gerne mal wieder

It has been great. The room was spacious and comfortable, sadly the bathroom had no window but it was not a big deal. The breakfast was superb. Casa da Ilha's people are kind and very thoughtful. The position is great to be away from the city but still being able to get to the center of Ponta Delgada with a 10 minute walk, ocean side. Incredible.
