Thank you so much for amazing vacation. Beautiful view on lake. We enjoyed your home and everything around. All dishes are clean. House is nice and clean. We love your bed’s set (sheets , duvets, and pillows cases). They fresh and very nice quality. We love your tv , appliances, and refrigerator. Thanks again for our beautiful vacation. We will come back again for next year and will suggest your home to our friends.

Great location, just across the road from the beach and a dock. Beds very comfy, great little modern kitchen. Loved the fire pit. Check in was super easy, host was extremely quick in answering all of our questions. Only used the golf cart a few times, but who knew? Loved our time in the Poconos. Fishing not what our guys are used to, but their float tubes worked out perfectly.

Great location

The cabin was located across the road from the beach and playground which was convenient. The home was very clean and beds were comfortable. The pool was nearby and heated. On the downside, The basement was musty with very poor air circulation. Moisture from the bathroom caused the floor to stay wet and very slick. We did have a surprise visitor in the kitchen in the morning This crazy squirrel got in somehow and ate much of our baked goods on the counter. The owners have been informed and plan to solve this problem. The extra costs add up! Car fees and amenity fees per person. For a week, ours totaled almost $300 extra! We had to cut our vacation short due to these added costs above the vrbo extra fees.

Great Family Getaway

The home was clean and well stocked with paper products, kitchen equipment, the grill was charcoal and there was coal and lighter fluid there! We replenished it before we left. We used the kayaks, canoe, and paddle board. The temperatures were amazing and we spent our time on the lake, cooking, grilling, fire pit time, playing games, and walking around the area! We totally suggest this house for a family getaway! Thank you!

Family Vacation

This was our first family vacation i 6 years and it was amazing. Mamta was fantastic to communicate with (and helped with our AC issue). The amenities were awesome. The kids spent most of the time kayaking and paddle boarding. Being right across from the water gave us the peace of mind to let them explore on their own. Everyone that we encountered was very friendly and we had no concerns with safety or anything. The association website listed all of the events and activities that were going on while we were there, and the fireworks were fantastic. This was a great stay and would 100% recommend it!

Upgrade the Furniture!

The location was great and the house was nice with plenty of room and all of the supplies that were needed. Our biggest complaint was the awful furniture in the living room that felt like you were sitting on cinder blocks. After a long day of skiing, we wanted to sit and relax at night and watch a little tv. The old "This Ends Up" furniture with the wood frames and cushions that are 2 inches thick just don't cut it. We couldn't wait to go home.

Great Stay

We loved our stay! We found it to be a spacious house perfect for family gatherings. Had a beautiful view of the lake too. Kitchen had all the dishware and appliances we needed to cook a new years dinner. Fireplace gave such a cozy cabin feel. Would book again in the summer time!

Upstairs good downstairs bad!

Location was fabulous. Kayaks by the lake were excellent. The kitchen was great and appliances were all updated. The downstairs of the house was musty and was leaking water in the bedrooms. They were not usable and clean at all therefore people slept on the couches. The downstairs shower did not drain. Grill was clearly not cleaned and spent a chunk of time cleaning it. The kayaks on the property were full of bugs and the hose was not hooked up to wash them out therefore making them unusable.

Rustic Cabin

Outdoor amenities are the winner at this location that is close to the lake. Canoe and kayaks were a plus. Very family oriented with beaches at the lake, pool and multiple playgrounds. Great kitchen but other indoor areas need some work. Owner very responsive. Indoor musty odor would keep us from going back. The WHOLE property could use some TLC.

Great for familes.

Beautiful private community perfect for families. The property is about 100 yards from one of the lake beaches and a playground. We had a deer and her fawn visit us daily. House comes with canoes and kayaks.The outside of the house is a little overgrown but gives it a camping vibe. Inside is well equipped and comfortable. Owners were responsive and helpful. The only con is that the outdoor security cameras made us feel a little uncomfortable.

Great property!!

Everything went smooth during our visit. Property description was accurate, communication with the host was fast and effective. Check in was painless since they have 24/7 welcome center. Property was situated right across from the lake where is also a playground fir the young ones to enjoy. The place was equipped with everything you need to have a pleasant vacation with your family from snow slides to kayaks and bikes for summer. The kitchen was complete with great appliances and has everything you will need in a kitchen and plus. Property was comfortable for 8 guess but could definitely sleep 10. Best rental in Poconos Mountains so far I will try to get back there during summer time.

Holiday Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Surrey House although it was a bit challenging to cook Thanksgiving dinner in an unfamiliar kitchen! Luckily the pots and pans and other kitchen equipment at the house helped out tremendously. The location was great and we are thinking of coming back in the summer.

Great house and great location!

We enjoyed a long weekend at the Surya Lakehouse. You can’t beat the location right across from the lake with the playground there for our younger kids. The house had everything we needed and more. The owner was super responsive and very nice. We will definitely be looking to stay here again.

Labor Day weekend getaway

My sisters, brother in law, and niece all stayed at this rental.we each had our own room with very comfortable bedding. The kitchen was brand new with all amenities we needed. An awesome upstairs front porch for cocktails, or morning coffee with a lake view. Loved the roomy fire pit area in the evenings also. We would definitely rent again. A rare plus, was the availability of the host/manager whenever I needed anything or had a question.
