Lakehouse Resort

Lakehouse Resort

4/5 Good
"Nice location for exploring Escondido/ Carlsbad and surrounding area. The resort is on a man-made lake with kayaks and paddle boards provided free for an hour, which is amble time for exploring the lake. There are two swimming pools and two hot tubs with beach towels provided with a room key. Golf is available. Two restaurants and a coffee/ quick breakfast snack shop on site. The beds are very comfortable with lots of towels provided. The room decor is a bit dated. We had noisy neighbors but they were quiet after 10. Try to get a room facing the lake, not the front parking lot. S’more packages are provided (for 2) with your stay and there are three fire pits where you can roast marshmallows. Although we were a couple attending a small reunion, it looks like a great location for family events."
