"Well the unfortunate thing about not having staff on and arriving later in the day is the possibility of being locked out of your room which happened to me. I had to sleep outside the first night until staff was able to fix the door or get the code to let me in the door. The hot tub was dirty but was cleaned the same day of the notice to staff on duty. I was promised to have the entire stay comped because of their mistake the first night but I was only comped the night of the mishap. I have text from the front desk but they still wouldn't comp the 2 nights I was there. The reason for this is because I would have not slept as much the day info into the room. I was on the phone for way too long with the 800 number that was unable to get me in the room. I over slept the next day which prevented me from really doing anything I scheduled for that day. It's unfortunate but comping my stay really would have won me over. Now that's out of the way , let's talk about the room. It's small but very nice. I loved that they had cocktail mixers and a coffee machine. I loved the bidet since I have one at home, this made me feel at home. I did like the private hot tub but I did miss a pool on the property. The property is close by restaurants and the beach but be sure it's a hefty walk to the actual rides etc. The ability to get a bike or a chair for the beach is a huge plus. All in all I liked the area and this could have been a very good short trip but it was ruined."
