Escape to A-Frames Under the Canopy, your private group glamping retreat just 2 miles from Natural Bridge State Resort Park. Set across 10 private forested acres, this unique Red River Gorge property includes 3 separate A-frame sleeping cabins plus a large central pavilion, giving groups the perfect balance of private sleeping spaces and one awesome place to gather.

When you book our place, your group gets the entire retreat: 3 separate A-frame sleeping cabins plus the large central pavilion, all tucked across 10 private forested acres. With sleeping accommodations for up to 12 lucky guests, our setup gives everyone their own cozy place to recharge while still providing one big gathering space for meals, games, conversations, and time together.

It’s the perfect place for group meals, games, hanging out, and winding down after a day in the Gorge.

The cabins sit approximately 100 yards from the pavilion, with wooded trails connecting the sleeping areas and shared gathering space. Each A-frame has its own tucked-away feel while still keeping the group close together. Our cabins are non-smoking and pet-friendly with pet fee.

Perfect family get away

We loved our stay in the A frames! It was so cute and unique. It allowed everyone to have some privacy in their own tiny house but then also a perfect community gathering space for us all to cook, eat, play games and enjoy family time together. We will be visiting again!

Camping turned into glamping

We enjoyed this property to gather with our friends and family after a day of hiking and exploring the red river gorge area. The hot showers are a nice bonus for glamping.

The Perfect Hike Glamp

The A-frames were very comfortable, good soup. Plenty of space for my sisters and dads family that had the right amount of amenities! Don’t forget your hammock to hang under the pavilion. Gorgeous location and right in the center of it all.

Super Cool Experience

The a frames are cozy and comfy and tucked into the woods just enough to feel private from the others. The bathrooms and shower were top notch. Everything was very well done and aesthetically on point. Anything you would need to prepare meals was available! We will def be back again!

A Frames

Overall this was a great location. Would have liked a fridge in the main area. Sleeping up on the top bed can be warm and suggest bring a fan with you. Definitely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to reach the property. Had a great time and good communication with owner.

A-Frames Under the Canopy was a nice retreat from the touristy strip in Red River Gorge but still close to the action. Just a couple minutes from Gorge Underground and all the other shops and restaurants were just down the street from there. The girls wished there was a full length mirror somewhere, and the one adult who slept in a loft was wanting for a handle at the top to feel more secure coming down. The recommendation of 4-wheel drive is a bit exaggerated. We didn't have much problem with a mini-van and an Acadia. We did have to disable traction control and don't spare the gas tho. A little work to smooth out some of the potholes would be appreciated but wasn't terrible.Overall it was a wonderful stay and the weather couldn't have been better. 70-80 during the days, and cool enough at night to keep the bugs in bed and enjoy a camp fire.

Great communication

Listing is quite accurate. Big takeaway is great communication with management company. Car battery died before check out and they were very kind and understanding as we fixed it. A-Frames is definitely tucked away, highly recommend an SUV to get there.

Nice Memorial Day Glamping

We enjoyed our time here. We had 2 families renting so it provided time together but also time apart. Our teenagers would’ve like more flat space to play but they made it work. The path to 2 of the 3 cabins are on an incline so plan accordingly if you have people in your group that would have issues with that. We loved sitting by the fire and enjoying the nature that surrounded us. We shared a few things with the property management company and, assuming those things were fixed, we would gladly return.

Perfect group getaway

Two families totaling 10 people stayed at the A-frame cabins this weekend. Property is very well-kept. Cabins are super nice and the shared pavilion is a perfect gathering spot! Very well equipped - even more than expected. All pots, pans, cooking and serving utensils were there including dish towels, sponges and soap. Each cabin had a water cooler in it that provided hot water and chilled water – great touch! Showers and bathrooms are super nice as well! Having the propane cooktop, as well as a propane weber grill made cooking so easy! I would definitely recommend these A-Frame cabins, and it would definitely come back!

“Camping” hard to access

The drive to the cabins is very difficult if you do not have 4 wheel drive. And once you are there you have to walk up a step path to the cabins which is difficult for people over 60 or children under age 3. Overall it was a great “camping” experience. The outdoor pavilion is only user friendly in warm weather. It was very cold in April to be used an outdoor living space.
