We really enjoyed our stay, it was a great location. Id just double check detectors, and appliances before check-in. Our Tv wouldnt work, and the smoke alarm beeping the whole first night was a bit of an annoyance. But other than that we enjoyed our anniversary getaway

The stay was fine the house had some out dated items, and other areas showed wear and tear. We really enmjoyed the area with great hiking and scenery.

We could only get luke warm water in the shower but every thing else was wonderful. We hosted a wrdding brunch for 10 people. The kitchen was perfect.

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. So clean and comfortable. Listing accuracy was spot on. Total privacy but close to everything you would want to do in the Red River Gorge area. The hot tub was amazing after a long day of hiking. 100% recommend if you are in the area. I would stay here again if I come back this way.

Nice, relaxing spot

Enjoyed our stay. While we spent most of our time enjoying the scenery at the area state parks, the property holds some amazing scenery of its own.

We had a pleasant stay at Carrie’s cabin. We enjoyed everything about the place. The view of the forest, wild turkeys who comes to the backyard, quiet time and soaking in the hot tub. We enjoyed playing board games and puzzles every night. There is no cell reception so you want to make sure you contact people before your arrival (wifi works great but I forgot some of my friends don’t have Apple phone) . The house had everything we needed. We cooked almost every night. They had basic condiments so be prepared to bring your spices if you plan to cook.

Perfect escape for family or friends

Loved the Jack and Jill bathroom. The views were great. Kids loved the long hallway. Huge King size bed and hot tub were great!
