Beautiful backyard and pool! Even on cooler January days, it was a great place for that first cup of coffee in the morning, and lovely relaxing in the backyard in the afternoon! The house was comfortable, attractively decorated, and stocked with everything we needed! Glenda and Scott were welcoming and helpful, responding quickly when we had questions! We enjoyed our month there!

We were extremely pleased with the cleanliness of Blue Door Retreat. The decor was tasteful. The kitchen was stocked with whatever we might need. The bathrooms had thick, fluffy bath towels, hand towels and washcloths. The beds were super comfortable, and the sheets were so luxurious. The outdoor space was perfect with a covered patio and beautiful pool. If you wanted shade, you got it. If you wanted sun you, had it. We loved everything about Blue Door Retreat.

Amazing!!!

Such a beautiful home. So peaceful and relaxing! The kids had such a blast in the pool. They provided blowup toys for the pool as well. I will be staying here again when we go visit our sister! Thank you guys for opening up your home to us!

This was the second time staying at the Blue Door Retreat. The space, inside and out, is great for families and there is a park in walking distance. The pool is great for all ages and the hosts have great pool accessories to enjoy. They really do think of everything you might need for your stay including your family pet.

We absolutely loved the house, beautiful, much better than I thought possible. So comfortable and quiet. The pool was exceptional also. We travel once or twice and stay in a VRBO. This is the best one yet!

Wonderful Stay At Blue Door Retreat

They property was beautiful, clean, and generously outfitted. Pride of ownership and desire to provide guests with a great experience comes across all aspects. Highly recommend considering Blue Door Retreat for a stay west of Phoenix.

Everything you need

We were in town visiting our newest grandchild. The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything you need. From pool toys to a 1st aid kit. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the owners. We happened to meet the neighbors, and they were lovely. The house is a little far from stores and restaurants, but it is a quiet neighborhood.

Property was very clean and i a quiet neighborhood. House was more than described, as the host go above and beyond to make your stay as easy and accommodating as possible. Instructions for operating items, such as the pool waterfall, were very clear. Very enjoyable.

Visiting to look for a home in that area

We stayed at this place, which was very clean inside, but the pool had water bugs in it. The poor guy said there was no chlorine in it. It was cloudy and trying to leave on time there was somebody outside waiting to come in. Yes, we were a little bit over our time 26 minutes, but I washed all the sheets cleaned all the floors vacuumed and made sure it was better than the condition I got it in, very uncomfortable with owner sitting outside the house waiting for us to leave

As promised & more!

Blue door retreat had everything the listing promised and all the little things to make the stay easy and convenient. The home was clean and well appointed. The pool was awesome especially since it was 110+ degrees every day with one day hitting a balmy 115!

Great home with everything you could need!

My family and I stayed here while visiting my sister’s family. The home had every amenity you could need and was so nice, clean and spacious. My 1 and 3 year old boys were with us and having the pool completely gated off was great. Also, the nearby parks have splash pads which they enjoyed. We will definitely consider staying again next time we visit my sister!
