The room was practical and clean. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. The pool and hot tub were great! Didn’t end up trying the breakfast. However, my one complaint is that the vending machines are ridiculous. I bought pop twice. $4 each time. My credit card shows $20 each. My card is set up to text me for all charges which is the only way I would have known so quickly. I spoke to the front desk Who said they don’t control it,the vending company does and gave me the number to call. I called and spoke to the vendor guy who said the amount was simply on hold and should be refunded in the next 24-48 hrs. “Like a gas station”. However, at a gas station, the hold is refunded before I tighten the gas cap. The vending guy then tells me “it’s not me, it’s the bank!” I looked up the vending company based on my credit card statement SH Vending. A google search of them reveals a long list of complaints for overcharges and nonsense “holds” for excessive time. This vendor needs to be removed from an otherwise pleasant hotel.

Nice having a chain restaurant attached. Yaaah! No complaints about price. We got what we paid for. Lots of hockey teams but no one playing a game in the hallways.Yaaah! Room was what my wife and I expected. Yaaah! No usb ports. Booo! I expect my sleep to be quiet and peaceful. Thank you.

The staff who greeted me upon arrival was lovely and very helpful. I asked for an extended departure time with no issues except...when I went down to the pool my card didn't work to get back in the room. Apparently they time out but I didn't know that. That was the only negative thing and it's an easy fix. Thank you for a great visit.

Had a wonderful 7 night stay over Christmas. Our family really loved the hot breakfast every morning-usually it alternated with omelettes or scrambled eggs with bacon or sausages and pancakes (with other continental breakfast type items). We are really impressed by how warm the heated pool was and the hot tub was a wonderful addition we looked forward to. It was quiet and we all slept well (we had two rooms). We would definitely stay here again.
