Welcome to the Holler hosted by Ken and Cindy Our camper is a 40 foot Gulfstream Kingsport that has been completely renovated inside and out. You will find that everything you need for a comfy stay is right at your fingertips. Located in a private spot, you will enjoy beautiful views. And don't forget to kick back in your own private hot tub! THE SPACE The camper is located at the top of the hill making for a very private experience. We are in the main house and available for any questions or advice on things to do around the area. Otherwise we strive to offer a private getaway for our guests so you won't see us much, however you may get a visit from our 2 very friendly labs Eddie and Kayce Our space is perfect for a couples getaway, the bedroom has a king size bed. There is also a queen size sofa bed in the living room. The hot tub is a Hot Springs perfect for up to 3 people. We regularly check the water and sanitize between each guest please enjoy the hot tub responsibly and follow hot tub rules. We are located Approx. 15-20 minutes from our quaint town of Peebles Ohio In and around Adams County Ohio We are Approx. 2 miles from Serpent Mound and in Locust Grove Ohio stop by and see Tom Johnson at The Rock Shop totally worth a visit. Also close by you can launch your kayaks on Brush Creek. Lots of hiking trails in the area (The Buckeye Trail) Nature preserves and Amish Country all around us with great bakeries and antiques and we are very well known during hunting season. Although we are closed for the winter months we will be back opened in March 2025 be sure to start booking your spring and summer getaways now. Lots of fun and exciting adventures coming up around Adams County and The Holler. Will book up fast ,Ken the pups and i look forward to seeing you all. Visit the Amish shops, visit Yoders Furniture & Bakery east of Seaman Ohio and Millers Bakery & Furniture on Wheat Ridge Road
2. Take a hike Adams County three best hikes are Quiverheart Preserve, Cedar Falls and Buzzardroost Rock and of course the Buckeye Trail
3. Dip a paddle There are four public launches on Ohio Brush Creek or rent a canoe at Moondoggie on Brush Creek Road
4. Of course Serpent Mound within 2 miles of the Holler it is a 1,348 foot long serpent effigy and ponder its mysteries they open Tuesday thru Sunday
5. Try Blake Pharmacy on the courthouse square in West Union Ohio and grab a coke which is just a nickel
6. Visit a Zoo Kids love Family Traditions Animal Adventures located just off Wheat Ridge Road in Amish country
7. Shop for antiques Visit Grindstone Farm home of the Old Thyme Wheat Ridge Herb Fair
