Great location, only downside was that it’s a rather noisy area - especially if staying on 2nd floor. A/C fan wasn’t working so had to open window to cool room down.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The location was good with restaurants and a metro stop close by. The Jardin des Plantes, a beautiful garden with a zoo and museums, was half a block away. The hotel was clean and well maintained though very small. If you can manage with a small space, this is a good bargain. The front desk staff were very warm, welcoming, and helpful.

Yes on shops! Not sure on WiFi. Walked to Notre Dame along the Seine, ate lunch at Bonaparte's and walked Rue St. Germaine back to Libertel. Took early train from d'Austerlitz. Same on the return!

Conveniently located near Gare D’Austerlitz. But this also means that facing the station you hear the trains running all night. That is only reason for not 5 stars. Room was good and clean, with a good bed. breakfast was good

First time to Paris

Hotel is beautiful When walking in we was greeted by a lovely man at reception, smiley and very welcoming… Check in was quick and straight forward, bed are okay a bit hard for the back but comfy. The walls are very thin, you can hear next doors conversation and also people above you having their showers and conversations but it is what it is… Amazing beautiful restaurants along the strip outside the hotel and very close to the metro and train stations

3-day family stay in somewhat noisy Paris

Great location, 2 minutes from Metro and 20 minutes walk to gare de Lyon. Very small lobby with free water station, both flat and sparkling! There was a €5 Express to-go breakfast option which was great and cheaper to most other sit-down options nearby. Elevator does NOT take you to your floor. You need to walk up or down one half floor. Room was small but functional: we had the family room. Noisy: Construction was in full swing across the street, starting at around 7am. It woke me up but the rest of the family slept ok. Several ambulances and police cars passed by during the night, probably due to the presence of an nearby hospital.

The location is excellent (3 mins to metros, a lot of restaurants downstair), the staff are super nice, and there are air conditioning, which is important for summar visit.

Comfortable and convenient

I stayed here because of its proximity to Gare de Lyon - just a 15 minute walk but half the price of the hotels right at the station. The room was typical Parisian tiny but so well organized it wasn’t bad! The bathroom even had a shelf for toiletries which is such a nice bonus and it wasn’t crazy small. The room was very clean and modern and had a coffee/tea maker plus a little mini fridge. The best part was the AC which worked great as it was over 90 degrees in Paris. The immediate area is fine- nothing particularly charming but you’re so close to other areas/metro/the Seine it’s no big deal plus there is a huge botanical garden right behind the hotel which was lovely.
