We were ready to leave

This spacious 3bd apt has everything you need for a few days in Panama City and almost nothing extra. Staying a week was just too long. The beds were reasonable, the appliances and fixtures all work. We received 3 towels for the week. No wash rags, an old sponge, 4 plates, 3 bowls, no serving dishes. I’m very glad we didn’t fill the house. We started the week by washing the counters and a washed few dishes. We arrived & met the housekeeper. She gave us a tour of the house, bldg amenities, and took us to administration to get fingerprint access for our stay. This took about an hour. strong bldg amenities: pool with view, gym cost 25. The apt is on the 5th floor facing the city. It’s loud. Bring ear plugs for sleeping. The AC works well, there’s one in each room. The WiFi, based in the living room, cannot get through the walls. We had to use a cat5 cable and plug directly into the router. The back bedroom had zero WiFi bars on my phone. At the end of our stay, we were asked to leave keys in the apt. They ended up in a grocery bag as we began our drive 2 hours west. When we arrived and found the keys, we headed back into epic traffic to return them. At that time, I had the most off-putting WhatsApp exchanges with the owner. I admit it was an error. It was. That doesn’t warrant all caps texts while I’m turning 2 hours drive into 7.The experience of the apt that wasn’t quite comfortable and an owner that doesn’t treat guests like customers left us ready to move on.

Central city location

Location is conveniently near city amenities such as shopping, restaurants, banks and convention central. Host was very helpful with suggestions of nearby restaurants which all were very good.
