We paid, checked in at the front desk, on our way to the room we decided to eat the $250 and spend $400 additional to book somewhere else. The first impression of the hotel condition was so bad we paid double plus the cost of booking this place to stay somewhere else. This isn’t a hotel. It’s a motel.

Very outdated hotel but the rooms were as clean as they could be . However we stayed 3 nights and there was no room service at all done in my room or the other room our friends stayed in. No option for bottled water after the gift shop is closed. Smelled like pot every night when we walked to the rooms. Pools were nice to soak in but again very outdated overall. Room service would have changed my rating

I want to say nice things because the staff was so lovely. But the hotel itself is somewhat run down. It's not horrible, but the sink was chipped, hard to find outlets that worked, the carpets in the hall were in bad shape. I heard Covid 2020 really hit this place hard and it shows. They didn't give me the room I booked so I got a discount, which was the decent thing. I wish the hotel the best in bouncing back and making some upgrades, b/c I met guests there who experienced it in its former glory and spoke highly of what it once was.

I booked through Expedia. At check in the clerk insisted I needed to pay a $22 upcharge per night since I did not book directly with the hotel for a ground floor room. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager approved my Expedia rate. This hassle was unwelcome and was a poor start to my trip. The rest of the stay was fine with no complaints.

There were a part of the hallway had almost no light and hard to walk due to no visibility. The beds were not comfortable to sleep due to having a lot of sprinkles. We also noticed that the water quality in the pool was dirtier than today.

The staff was friendly and great but the hotel room itself was something less to be desired. Entered the room and was greeted by a mosquito, as well as some unidentified bugs and roaches crawling in the bathroom and the main room. My remote control didn't work so had to go to the front office to get the batteries switched out. Peeled paint on the bathroom door and around the bathroom was unattractive. One of the sinks had a drippy faucet. My hotel room is in front of a busy gate that squeaks every time it's used. Out of all this, the most frustrating part of my stay for me was the soap. It was the thinnest soap I have ever seen, and brittle to the touch. I try to do my research in booking a hotel and the number of review were decent for this hotel, but I couldn't tell you why. Would not stay there again.

During our check in process, the front desk worker asked us what time are we planning to take a shower last night and when we ask why is it matter, he then said “forget I asked”! I would have appreciated a little explanation since this was my first time anyone asked us such a question.
