My husband said he almost turned around to leave and find another hotel when he pulled up at night, but the room wasn't bad, the bed wasn't bad, and he slept fine. The breakfast wasn't great, either. Don't think we would stay there again, though we'd probably have to spend at least $25-30 more to get significantly better in that area.
when we read the reviews and the rating it had 4.5 stars and now we find out it was actually a 2 star. if we had known this we would not have stayed there.
Beds very comfortable, mattresses seem fairly recent. Pillows full but not so firm you feel like you'd wake with a strain in your neck. Bathroom tile sparkles (well, close) no cracked, broken or moldy tiles, good water pressure and easy to regulate temp. Chairs in room basic, but more comfortable than a lot of hotel chairs I've enjoyed. Staff friendly, helpful,efficient. Continental breakfast basic, but had at least a minimum amt fresh fruit, and some rel hah & half, not just powdered "creamer" for the coffee. For.price, very good value - believe me, it won' take much effort to find worse. Ask for a room on back side of bldg, away from US 62, for more quiet, but hum fro AC unit is enough white noise to obscure traffic, or it was for me. If you go, hope you enjoy the area, I liked the small city park just across the street for morning walk in summer.

Venture River Park, shopping center, and 4 restaurants in walking distance. Calvert City drive-in is only 15 miles away! Great location, only thing I would change would be to put coffee pots in room.

When I come to Eddyville I will always stay @ the Regency when fishing or in the area for any other reason. The rooms were clean, the staff was very helpful and the outside electrical hookups were great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to this area for any reason.
